Once off the main road and on a 'no through' road, you will pass two houses on your way up to the property and then only come across the local farm traffic thereafter.

We had an excellent stay at this converted barn! The location is truly peaceful and scenic, perfect for relaxing. It’s close enough to beaches like New Quay and Aberporth, so plenty to explore. The hot tub was a highlightand we enjoyed the BBQ many nights. Watching sunsets, kitesand rabbits was lovely. Our dog even made friends with a mischievous little sausage dog, which was adorable. Definitely recommend for a chilled getaway!

Wow, what a lovely spot! Steve and Emily really nailed it with this cosy getaway nestled in the Welsh hills, surrounded by lush farmland. It’s about an hour to the beaches like Tenby and Mumbles, which isn’t too bad at all. The open-plan living area is perfect, with a comfy sofa and a fireplace-ideal for relaxing evenings. Plus, there’s a washing machine and dryer, handy for longer stays. The three ensuite bedrooms are spaciousand outside, the BBQ and hot tub make it even more special. Can’t wait to come back to this little slice of paradise!

We stayed at this beautifully renovated barnand honestly, it’s got everything you could need! The place is modern, brightand super comfy-those mattresses are a dream. It’s a bit of a drive to the shop, but they stock pretty much everything if you forget something. The woodland trail nearby is lovely and long, perfect for a good walk. The hot tub is just the ticket after a day outand the BBQ area is perfect for relaxing evenings. Everything is pretty straightforward to use too, which is a bonus!

After just a day back home, we already miss The Welsh Barn! The setting is absolutely stunning - a perfect escape with breathtaking views and lovely walks nearby. The place itself was top-notch, really comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. We loved relaxing there after days out exploring Cardigan Bay and the local area. It felt like our own cosy retreat. Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
National Botanic Garden of Wales - SA32 8HN

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
Dinefwr Park and Castle - SA19 6RT
about 15 Miles
Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
Folly Farm - SA68 0XA
about 24 Miles
Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire is an award winning Farm attraction, offering fun for the whole family come rain or shine. The main attractions are the Zoo, Farm and Petting Barn and there is also a huge Adventure Play Area and a small funfair with traditional rides. Priced at just £8.00 for adults and £7.00 for children it offers excellent value for money. There are several places to eat and drink including a licensed bar and a family friendly restaurant.
Dinosaur Park - SA67 8DE

The Dinosaur Park is located in Tenby and makes the perfect family day out.  Activities on offer include fossil hunting, Dino Crafts, Pat a Pet and the treasure hunt.  For both toddlers and older kids there's an indoor adventure playground, ideal when the weather is not on your side.  The high-tec activity centre is always popular with interactive fun and education.  New in 2010 is Hooplasaurus.  Check out their website for the latest admission prices and what's on when you plan to visit.
