Tynddol Bungalow Reviews

12th visit to the bungalow. . Never fails..perfect location to explore the area, hopefully not long until visit number 13
Amazing bungalow stunning views
The patio was dangerous. Needs a good jet wash. Could only use the hottub once in daylight because of the slippery patio. One of us slipped over once and few of us had near misses in falling. Didnt risk going in the night as the patio was lethal. The house itself was lovely and clean to be fair. Crockery hit and miss seen as it catered for 5 only 4 wine glasses. Wouldnt recommend this property on the basis it advertises hot tub and really its not safe to use because of the patio being soo slippery. The property inside was lovely and clean and spacious and beds were comfortable.
Clean warm and comfortable. Would be goo to include picture of bathroom with gallery. Second toilet would be useful Well stocked kitchen and wonderful garden and hot tub. Wifi good for teenager use,tv,videos and local area leaflets appreciated. Quiet and secluded break with wildlife to admire. Supermarkets 20 mins away to stock up for the stay.
Our third visit to this property. Enjoyed a relaxed week and weather was good so it was lovely to spend time in the garden with the beautiful view. Plenty of space and beds very comfy. Will return as soon as we can.
Wed like to thank Gemma for our stay. The whole family had a wonderful time and we look forward to returning very soon.

Lovely bungalow, very clean and comfortable. My kids loved using the swings and slide. We enjoyed our time at Tynnadol house very much. Thank you!
A lovely stay y in a beautiful home.
Absolutely wonderful stay, met our expectations and so much more, beautiful scenery, the hot tub was definitely a welcomed addition. Would definitely look at staying here again in the future.
Absolutely loved this cottage such a beautiful peaceful place to stay. Me and my family absolutely loved every single minute.
Joanne
We had a lovely time. The views were fabulous and the bungalow had everything we needed for a lovely break. The hot tub and garden provided plenty of entertainment for the whole family. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet break away from your busy life.
Pamela
Beautiful bungalow with great views, lovely and clean and spacious. Hot tub was great. Only thing missing was a dishwasher, otherwise perfect.
Jacqueline
Great bungalow. Spacious and clean. Warning remember to pack fly spray Remote location with spectacular views. Bit of a trek off the main road. Awesome hot tub. Loved it
The bungalow was perfect. From the moment we arrived we were taken back by the stunning views. The bungalow had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect place to relax, my children loved the swings and slide and the hot tub was a welcomed addition after a busy day exploring. Id recommend a trip to Gigrin kite farm to watch the kites being fed. Thank you so much for a lovely week, we will definitely be back!
Wow! Breathtaking views, perfect secluded location, our children loved the play area, they also loved all the local wildlife! We enjoyed the hot tub whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. We ventured out for a few days Elan Valley Dams are a must. The bungalow itself was spacious, clean, well kept and the owners were very friendly and polite. Would highly recommend for families or couples alike.

Tyndol cottage is an absolute Gem Of a place, it is in a beautiful secluded spot with amazing views and wildlife all around. Plenty of lovely places to visit not to far way. We were quite happy to sit in the garden with the sun shining or relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of wine.Hot tub is cleaned every morning by the lovely friendly owner. The inside of the property is very clean and cosy, the double bed in the front bedroom is so comfortable and cosy, I have never slept so well. There is a good community shop just a short distance away if you don't want to venture far and they stock all the main essentials amongst lots of other lovely local produce at a fair price. The bacon is the best we have ever had from anywhere. The locals are so pleasant and friendly had a lovely chat with the farmer who was tending to the sheep who were regular visitors to the field next to us.The red kites were a joy to watch. We had the most wonderful and relaxing week did not want to leave. We will definitely back again soon. Thanks to sykes cottages also for their great correspondence Throughout!!
Fantastic place! Scenery was amazing! The cottage itself had everything, you could literally move in! Gemma and her mum were particularly helpful as well!
Location of the bungalow was exceptional. Sitting in the hot tub with the spectacular views was most defanitly the biggest highlight. The cottage itself was extremely well kitted out the kitchen ect. Noticed there were some comments about no stand up shower. But was absolutely fine have a sit down shower. As a small price to pay for this lovely gem of a place. We tend to only go places the once. To try different places. But will deffo be making an exception on returning to this place because was such a great place and the surroundings where all spot on
Jeanette
Lovely location, beds were comfortable, exactly as pictures showed enjoyed the break the only downside if I'm being picky there was only 2 plates to eat off and there were 4 adults and a baby so we had to buy a couple . .however pubs close to were closed and the other one was not doing good, but there is a lovely chippy on the main road in llandrindod wells about 15 minute drive away .
Great location, situated on a farm with nice valley views. Property was very good with everything you needed. However, a stand up shower would have made it even been better. If your looking for a place for a peaceful relaxing break, this is it. Would stay here again.
Warm cosy cottage in the perfect location! So quiet and relaxing. The little playground and the hot tub are great. Stunning views from the kitchen and overall. One week is not enough to exlore all the sightseeings there are so many great places to go to Elan Valley dams, Snowdonia, Brecon Beacons, Shropshire, Breakitsneck waterfall. Would love to come back!
Darren
Very clean and well equipped bungalow. In a lovely location, very quiet and peaceful. The local shop stocks essentials and there are supermarkets within 10 miles. Overall a really nice place to stay.
Christopher
This was a fantastic holiday with fantastic accommodation, I really couldn't fault it at all, we had a small problem with hot tub and reported it to the owner who came to the bungalow within the hour to fix it immediately. Truelly a great place to stay and we will be returning again in the future.
Stayed at the bungalow for 2 weeks could not fault a thing, fantastic views all ... Stayed at the bungalow for 2 weeks could not fault a thing, fantastic views all around us ,my 3 year old grandson loved the cows and sheep in the field near to the garden, lovely places to visit every day then to finish the day relaxing in the hot tub with a glass wine
Clean and comfortable cottage in quiet location with great views. Only grumble is a house of this standard ought to have a dishwasher and there wasn't much cutlery or crockery so we were constantly washing up. Otherwise a great stay and somewhere we would definitely consider again.
3rd visit in under a year, great base for mid Wales, hope to return soon
The bungalow is lovely. its fairly isolated, up a little track past a farm, although the shepherds hut which is also available to rent, is just over the garden hedge, this was unoccupied on our visit, so our privacy wasn't disturbed. The views sre great, and its very peaceful. The ownermanager popped by with additional bedding and was polite and friendly. There is pretty much everything you need here. A well equiped kitchen with probably a few too many ovenserving dishes in the cupboards! Comfortable dining area with double doors out to the garden and double doors into the lounge. Its a cosy lounge with a small TV and lovely log burner, the back of the settee tilts for comfort I'm writing this because at first when it dropped down we thought we'd broken it The bed in the double is quite soft and the other mattresses in the family room sag a little, and the pillows are quite firm. I think several people mentioned the lack of shower. The handheld shower head and hose in the bath is fine, my husband ings nearly 6ft and was able to shower and wash his hair without any problems. We loved the hot tub, which was very clean warm and had a couple of steps to get into it. However the cover is difficult to get off as the mechanism to lift it was broken and not attached. If you have back problems this will be a challenge unless it's repaired. There are a lot of guide books! and info about places to visit, some include South Wales and further afield. Locally we enjoyed the Kite feeding station, Elan valley reservoirs, and a walk around Break your neck waterfall yes, that's what its called! There's also a nature reserve not far and Rhayader is pleasant to visit. The small community shop just 2 minutes down the road has lots of yummy cakes, reasonable prices logs, those bits and bobs you need and friendly staff.
Everything was lovely and as described. The bungalow had everything you could need. However the WiFi did not work during our stay and my little one was upset about that.
Adelle
The most enjoyable and relaxing holiday weve had! Everything a family could need has been thought of in the bungalow.
I wouldn't recommend this bungalow for anyone with a disability. To use the shower means having to stand in the bath and there are no grab it handrails for security. Other than that the bungalow is in a beautiful location with sheep and cows outside the windows.
We had a wonderful week away in this cottage and everything was really nice, the only thing we felt that would of made this holiday receive top marks would of been if it had a shower.
We were more than happy with the cottage in that we wanted somewhere quiet and isolated, but with a young child it was difficult to walk anywhere, therefore we would look for somewhere else more suitable for accommodating young children.
The bungalow was beautiful, clean, comfortable, modern just lovely! Its location was perfect. We can't speak highly enough of it! Many thanks.
The peace and quiet of the country side. Central to lots of sight seeing
Debbie
This was our second visit here and we will be returning again The best location I have ever stayed in, the cottage has everything you need, clean, lovely furnishings and the Hot Tub was perfect! Can't wait to go back
Debbie
A truly wonderful property. Peaceful location. The bungalow was clean, had everything we needed, cosy, spectacular views and the hot tub was perfect. We will definitely return soon!
Jonathon
The cottage was clean and well stocked, there were nice touches like the little welcome pack of biscuits and the rose petals. The owners were very present and accommodation, this couple's with the seclusion, hot tub and views made this a fantastic holiday.
