Lane End Crich Reviews

Emma
The place was really clean and well stocked, but probably best for fewer people. Would recommend!
Emma
The place was quite cosy and had all the essentials, which was lovely. The location was spot on for exploring nearby sights. Only downside was the garden, which was a bit messy and muddy-understandable since it was October. Still, I’d recommend it!
James Carter
Great spot, would stay again

We had a lovely stay at this property, set in such a beautiful part of the country. The house was spotless and really comfy, with plenty of space upstairs. The en-suite shower was powerful, which was a bonus. It’s quite good for a bigger family, although it felt a bit tight for eight adults. The enclosed garden with a fire pit and BBQ was greatand we absolutely loved the hot tub! The village Butcher and Baker are worth checking out too, especially for their hand thrown pizzas on Wednesdays. The Old Black Swan pub’s theme nights, like Mexican Friday, are pretty fun too.
Emma
We had a pretty enjoyable stay overall. The house is in a lovely spotand the kids loved the playground just across the road - such a bonus! Crich is a charming village, definitely worth exploring. The place suited us four adults, two kidsand two dogs, but the downstairs felt a bit tight if more people had come. The only real letdown was the garden; it was overgrown and messy, quite different from what the photos showed. Still, we’d come back!
Martin
We really enjoyed exploring the village, popping into all the local shops and pubs. Honestly, I could see us settling in here! It’s a perfect spot for visiting the tram museum and the memorial, plus trips to Bakewell, Matlockand Chatsworth. Coming back for a relaxing dip in the hot tub was the best way to end the day.
Emma

The cottage is lovely, really handy for shops and just a quarter of an hour’s walk to the tram museum. Loads of lovely walks nearby too!

Emma Carter
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was lovely and had everything we needed, with a nice layout and good facilities. The location is perfect, close to lovely countryside walks and handy for local shops and pubs. The downstairs felt a bit smaller than the pictures, but we all managed comfortably - especially around the big dining table, which was perfect for Christmas. The hot tub was a hitand Richie was super helpful, replying quickly and answering all our questions. Great stay overall!
Emma
Bright, cosyand super clean stay
Sarah
Really enjoyed our stay! The place was spotless and felt welcoming. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day out. The shop and fish & chips nearby were handy. Chatsworth was just half an hour away. We’d definitely return.
Emma
The cottage was lovely and really well looked after, especially the kitchen which had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. Just a heads-up - if you’re planning to use the hot tub, double-check it’s heated properly when you arrive, or you might end up disappointed. Still, we had a great stay!
Emma
Really impressed with how well designed and comfy it is, plus easy to check in and out. Lovely stay!
Emma S.
We had a really lovely stay at the cottage in Crich! The hot tub was a definite highlightand the decor was cosy and inviting. The kitchen was well-stocked, making cooking easy, though the lounge could do with a few extra seats for larger groups. The owners left a nice touch with wine and milkand the key safe made check-in super simple. Everything was spotless and it truly felt like a home away from home. We’d definitely come back!
Emma
The house was really cosy and well-equipped, perfect for our stay. The park nearby was greatand the hot tub was a hit with the kids! Plenty of activities locally.
Emma
