The house itself was just about the right size for 4 adults and 2 children (+2 dogs) but downstairs is quite small so we would have struggled with any more people. We really enjoyed our stay - house and location are great. Friendly pub, bakery, shop, takeaways, local walks within walking distance in Crich and close by to other bigger towns like Matlock Bath. Some of the reviews made me worry the house would be too small for 8 but it was actually fine (we were two families of 4) - good bedrooms, 3 toilets and the garden all help. House was spotless and well equipped. We would definitely book again.

The house has plenty of off road parking in this lovely quiet village & you can walk to the shops.

This unique attraction combines an array of activities. If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about. Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system. You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views. You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.

Gulliver's Kingdome - WA5 9YZ

Gulliver's Kingdome is a family friendly theme park offering many attractions for children of all ages. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships.
