Lane End Crich Reviews

Anne
It was clean tidy and well equipped. I would recommend it but not for 8people.
Julie
Property wasn't as large as expected but expectionally clean and well equipped with everything you need. Great location is visiting local attractions. Only negatives were that garden was untidy and very boggy but it was October. However, I would still recommend this property.
Andrew
Excellent property and location
Gillian
Lovely property in beautiful part of the country. Clean and comfy with plenty of room upstairs. En-suite shower nice and powerful. Good size for extended family, though a little cramped for eight adults. Nice enclosed garden with fire pit and bbq. Loved the hot tub. Would recommend the village Butcher and Baker where you can order hand thrown pizzaRead more for collection on Wednesday. The Old Black Swan pub runs theme nights on a Friday (can recommend Mexican night). Hide

Overall a lovely house in a great location. My children loved having the playground just across the road and Crich is a lovely village. The house itself was just about the right size for 4 adults and 2 children (+2 dogs) but downstairs is quite small so we would have struggled with any more people. The biggest disappointment was the garden which waRead mores very overgrown and messy, nothing like our expectations from the pictures on the website Hide

We loved the village and made use of all the local shops, pubs etc, I could happily move in lol Its a good base for the tram museum and the memorial, we did Bakewell, Matlock and Chatsworth and it was lovely to come back to a dip in the hot tub in the evening
Karin

Had a group stay for my birthday and would definitely visit again. Beautiful home and it was lovely meeting the host Richie, very kind and helpful.
Sally
Lovely house, near plenty of countryside for walking. Very close to local amenities, a small supermarket and several pubs. The house was thoughtfully laid out, well stocked. Downstairs seemed smaller than the photos showed. I was worried with 6 adults, 2 young children and 2 dogs but we all fitted in comfortably, the large table being used a lot ovRead moreer Christmas. Well equipped, clean and nice welcome back. Nice having the hot tub. The shop is a short walk and fish and chips too. We went for the day to Chatsworth which was 30 mins away. Would book again
Donna
Lovely cottage with well equipped kitchen. Clean and very tidy. A note to myself and anyone that books a place with a hot tub to check it is heated to the right temp on arrival rather than, all getting prepared for the tub session to find it is set at 21
Christine
No complaints, brilliant use of the space available. Well thought out and comfortable. Straight forward arrival and departure.

Lovely cottage in Crich with added bonus of a hot tub. Nicely decorated, well stocked kitchen and good eating area. We really enjoyed our stay - house and location are great. Friendly pub, bakery, shop, takeaways, local walks within walking distance in Crich and close by to other bigger towns like Matlock Bath. Some of the reviews made me worry the house would be too small for 8 but it was actually fine (we were two families of 4) - good bedrooms, 3 toilets and the garden all help. House was spotless and well equipped. We would definitely book again.
Marie
We loved our stay, the hot tub is a real plus, after exploring Derbyshire. All the beds are comfy and number of rooms great. Kitchen & laundry well equipped. Crich has a lovely baker, (pizza night Wed) butchers & chippy. Easy reach of Cromford, Matlock, Chatsworth & Wirksworth. The sofa area is relaxing & the tv was good & you can log into Netflix . The house has plenty of off road parking in this lovely quiet village & you can walk to the shops.
M

Susan
Truly wonderful sitting in the hot tub watching the night sky, glazing at the stars twinkling in the dark of the night, looking to see the "Plough" or other constellations
Jon
Pleasant stay, we had 8 (4 adults plus 4 kids) and it was a bit of a squeeze, 8 adults would def be a push. Needs some more kitchen bits to make a bit more user friendly. Nice village, plenty to do in the area.
Sharon
Very nice house in a great location. Would struggle for comfort in the lounge with 8 adults staying.
Barbara
There were seven of us staying and everyone liked the cottage, especially the hot tub! The adults were very appreciative of the wine! The beds were comfy and the rooms were warm.
