3 Sunnyside Terrace was a beautiful base for us as a family of three. It was well equipped and had all the modern features you might wish for. The kitchen was especially equipped well. It was warm and cosy. The hot tub was a perfect addition to the stay. Our points of feedback is the tvremote needs looking at, it skips if you press the buttons too quickly and is frustrating slow and remote is sometimes delayed. We felt the written rules in both the bedrooms for checkout procedure was a little overkill. Asking us to clean out the fire for example made us feel we couldnt enjoy a fire on our last night as we were worried it would still be warm on day of departure so we couldnt clean it. Personally I would remove the lists from the bedrooms and just have one downstairs as a polite reminder. The location being at the top of a steep hill could be added on description to make that part clearer. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the property.

What a little gem. We came and stayed for 3 nights of the October half term. Two adults and two children. The cottage was absolutely spotless and comfortably furnished to a high standard. The owners have added lots of small touches to make it more homely. The weather was kind to us but we took full advantage of the log burner and hot tub. We would definitely recommend 1010.
Pauline
Fabulous clean, cozy and very well equipped for a home from home stay. Lots of lovely little thoughtful touches. Torches and charging points in bedroom & kitchen. Very comfortable seating and beds. Efficient log burner. Smart heating was great. Bathroom shower provided plenty hot water. Very good location for easy walking access for the more mobile or easy drive if not as mobile. Property has pleasant views from the front. The hot tub is a treat at the end of the day of walking and exploring. Sarah & James, were on hand if required and offered good prompt communications as we arrived and settled in. Thanks for really great break.
Michelle
Lovely accommodation, lots of useful products for visitors and great location.
We found that the description was understated, as the cottage was fantastic, the amenities were superb and the attention to detail was second to none. From the moment you walk in until you leave you keep finding little details the owners have thought of to make your stay even better. The hot tub was a welcome activity after a day out walking. In closing if you want a perfect stay where everything is taken care of Sunnyside Terrace is the place to book.
Lovely cottage clean well equipped nice welcome pack Sara was excellent lovely sunsets and views would recommend p
Lauren
The cottage is really well presented and comfortable, and in the perfect spot for exploring Matlock and beyond. The views from the property are stunning. The owners have thought of everything you could need and the hot tub was very much enjoyed.
A lovely wellappointed cottage a wonderful blend of traditional Peak District features with modern facilities and style.
Beautiful property, the owners have thought of everything!
Excellent cottage, everything you can think of is available to use. Beautifully restored and well decorated. Hot tub is great and private. Owners are extremely responsive to messages and only too happy to accommodate any needs you may have, such as additional towels etc. Perfect stay and wouldnt hesitate to book again. One of the best cottages weve stayed at and highly recommend booking.
Claire
We loved everything about our stay here. ...we felt at home the minute we walked through the door. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Would definitely come back!
Jennifer
This was such a wonderful place to stay. It was a great sized property for myself and my husband and had so many great touches and additional extras e.g. hot water bottles, games, Tupperware, oil, salt and pepper which made it so easy to be away and help us out when we had forgotten things. The property was comfortable and quiet and we loved the hot tub this is one of the reasons we booked here. We drove into Matlock for dinner and loved the Remarkable Hare and the Smoke House. Parking was also straight forward. Thank you for a brilliant stay.
We had a lovely time at no. 3. It had more than everything we needed for a fantastic stay. It was clean, the bed was lovely and comfy and the wood burner added to the cosy feeling of the cottage. Location was good for walks into Matlock and Matlock Bath. The cottage was a bit cold when we got there but a quick phone call to the owners and the temperature was better not particularly happy we couldn't control this ourselves and felt we weren't trusted to do so. The hot tub was the best we've ever used, we have used lots! big, lovely temperature, powerful jets and so sparkly clean. We used it a lot and it made our stay super relaxed. But if you want privacy this isn't the place for you. We were overlooked in the hot tub by both the neighbours, and the front of the house had nothing to stop people looking directly in to the front door and the big window of the living room unless you shut the curtains, then it was dark. All it needed was net curtains or similar. Because of the lack of privacy, we would not come back to this property.
Leanne
Fantastic cottage, everything you need and loved the little extras. Will definitely be back
Dennis
Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The owners have thought of everything and we were not disappointed! The property is very tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean. Communication between us and the owners was first class. If you are looking to stop near Matlock, then this property ticks all the boxes for comfort and cleanliness. It is well equipped, and the views are amazing!
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay! The cottage has everything you could want and more. The owners are very thoughtful, friendly and accommodating, without being in any way intrusive. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family! Thanks again Craig, Laura and Henry
Great property! We would definitely book this one again. The Kitchen has everything you could possibly think of, something often lacking in other holiday lets. The hot tub was amazing and ready to use straight away, plenty of towels provided for both showering and the hot tub. Also a lovely welcome pack upon arrival, definitely a recommended property!
Simran
First of all, location was great, with stunning views from the second you step out the front door. The cottage itself was beautiful, but not just for show, it was well stocked and had everything you could possibly think of. The owners were friendly and available, happy to answer any questions and give us any help we needed. So a lovely stay at Sunnyside, highly recommend a visit!
Craige
We stayed at 3 sunny Side terrace with our 2 children for 3 nights over the half term period. As a family we absolutely enjoyed our stay, we loved the hot tub especially the kids. Sarah and Jamie are only a call away if any concerns arise and they are a really lovely couple. The cottage is very clean, tidy, and completely faultless. The location is very good to pubs, restaurants and local attractions. We will be definitely be returning in the future. Regards Craige
This was my second stay at this property, & I was not disappointed! Everything was spotlessly clean . The log burner was already lit for my arrival., which was so lovely, & much appreciated. The hot tub was amazing again.....the best that I have experienced! Sarah was very welcoming. The owners live next door, but are not intrusive at all. Communication leading up to my visit & during my visit, was excellent! The property is close to many towns & places of interest. I will return again in the future! First Class Property!!
Hayley
Fantastic service and communication from the owners from making a general enquiry, right the way through to staying at the property. The cottage was lovely and exceeded our expectations. A wonderful surprise when we arrived of a welcome pack, stoked fire and the property decorated for Christmas. The property was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the hot tub too. Would like to return in the future and would definitely recommend!
Joanne
Lovely cottage. Very well equipped. Really helpful owners. Hot tub in the garden was a treat and spotlessly clean. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Fabulous cottage , with stunning views . It was spotlessly clean and the owners had thought of everything you may need . Really enjoyed coming back to relax in the hot tub after a day exploring the area and enjoying such comfortable accommodation . Would highly recommend this property and hopefully look forward to our next visit ! Thanks so much Sarah .
Cottage was lovely and so well equipped. The owners were close by which was really useful as we asked if the heating could be upped a little. The heating was controlled remotely. The other lovely thing were all the little extras that were provided.
Mrs Debbie

The owners Sarah & Jamie and thought about everything to make you holiday special, from the moment i booked, everything you could wish for is in this cottage... High light of my stay was not only the cottage but the fabulous hottub, i used it every day and was so relaxing after our days out, high light for my hubby was the log burner he loved it.. i have already recommended this beautiful cottage to friends & family and if we visit the Peak District again would definitely stay here again ... Sigourney
The property was exactly as advertised, if not better! It had everything you'd ever need in the kitchen and the owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the extras that make it a welcome break. The beds were comfy, rooms were clean, and the view out front is amazing for watching the sunsets. Pure bliss. Only slight issue was the chemicals must've been a little high in the hot tub as my bikini lost its colour!
Absolutely loved our stay. Couldn't be happier. Beautiful Cottage with stunning views at the front of the property. The cottage itself has everything you need for a stay. The hosts have thought of everything and keep the property immaculate. We stayed with our baby and the hosts were lovely offering high chairs, stair gates and a cot. A box of toys were left out also proving a hit with the little one. We will definitely stay again. Thanks M,E & Baby T
Ekaterina

The cottage felt like home with absolutely everything you could possibly need on your holiday. The decor was also lovely and modern. The hot tub was super clean and had a lovely relaxing feel. Would definitely recommend it and we will be happy to stay there again. Thanks a lot!
Patrick
The cottage was as presented on the listing. We felt very welcome in the house and had a wonderful time. Especially the Whirlpool was a highlight for us. All was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped.
Lindsay
Amazing place, well laid out, clean & tidy. Had everything needed for a relaxing stay just like being at home. Added bonus of the hot tub, which was great having a roof over, and the air fryer in the kitchen making meals extra easy to prepare. Although the owners lived close by they dont bother you unless there is a problem. Looking forward to going again.
Beautiful cottage. Perfect for purpose. There Was everything we could possibly need for comfortable stay. Hot tub was icing on the cake. Hosts are fab and always in touch when needed. In front of the cottage there is beautiful view with sun sets. Highly recommend to stay here if visiting peaks, as location is perfect too.

We had a brilliant weekend at 3 Sunnyside Terrace. The cottage was everything we couldve wished for and felt like home. It was beautifully decorated, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was great after a day of walking. The owners were really helpful and friendly. We didnt want to leave and would definitely visit again.
Mohammed Adam
The property was in excellent condition. Clean, comfortable and toys for the kids! Only thing I would recommend is having a dryer as there was no where to dry the clothes after washing them. It could maybe go in place of the dishwasher. But overall, a great experience!
Suzanne
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 3, Sunnyside Terrace. The cottage was beautifully restored, tastefully decorated, incredibly well equipped and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. The owners were very helpful and made sure our stay was lovely. The cottage is in a perfect position to explore all the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District have to offer. We had a fantastic week in the Peak District and 3 Sunnyside Cottage was the icing on the cake. Superb position and friendly, helpful owners close by. The cottage has everything you need including a lot of things you probably forgot to bring. The Hot Tub was superb after a days hiking and the log burner is perfect to sit and relax by in the evening. The cottage is very well presented and you will immediately feel at home.
