The Coach House Reviews

Couldnt fault the cottage, gets top marks, the beds were comfortable and clean, the living room spacious and the kitchen sublime, the bathroom also great. Close to everything we wanted to see and do,all in all a great little stay
Sandra
An absolutely beautiful cottage. Everything was just perfect. Very comfortable beds, quality bedding and lots of fresh towels. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen so no need to bring anything with you. Great log burner for chilly nights and plenty of logs available. Immaculate hot tub which is very private. What makes this accommodation so special is the fact you can walk in the owners grounds and feed three delightful donkeys.
We had a lovely stay at the Coachhouse. Yes, you will bang your head a few times, but its worth it. Very clean and very comfortable beds. Our dog loved the paddock and was even excited to meet the donkeys. Also great to have the car charger to use. Great location for touring the Cotswolds or to visit Oxford or Bath. Nice and friendly hosts. Would suggest some coat hooks in the hallway but cant really fault. If holidaying in this area again would definitely book here.
Lovely location and property being just across from the Westonbirt Arboretum. We had our Labrador with us and it was just lovely to be able to walk out the door and across your secure paddock first thing in the morning. Thank you.
Really great stay at the Coach House. Everything really well thought about, enjoyed the log burner and the private hot tub. Even had a walk in the lovely garden and fed the donkeys. Met the host briefly who seemed great.

We have just had a most enjoyable stay at The Coach House. The property is a very well converted Victorian coach house, and it is comfortably furnished and has good facilities. The beds are very comfortable. The housekeeper does a great job, as everything was spotlessly clean. There is access to the owners delightful large garden, and dogs are permitted too on a lead. We met the owners on a few occasions, and they were both very welcoming, and very helpful when we had a problem with charging our EV. On site charging for an EV was a real bonus. We may well visit again. Thank you.

The coach house was an amazing home away from home! We absolutely loved the brilliant location, and amenities that were provided during our stay. Such a beautifully taken care of property which made it easy to get into holiday mode. Emma and Karl were fantastic when we found ourselves in a pickle, and went well out of their way to help! Our toddler was obsessed with the chickens and their eggs and was very excited to meet the sheep and donkeys! It was a lovely safe space for him to run around in. Cant wait to come back!!
Slight issue with the Hot Tub which was resolved very quickly by the owner. Excellent property well maintained, clean tidy with everything you need.
Claire
It was great to be able to use the lovely garden to walk the dog as the surrounding roads were quite busy. And it was the perfect base for visiting Highgrove and Tetbury
Beautiful property in a lovely part of the country. Everything was really clean and lots of thought had gone into little extras to make our stay more comfortable. The donkeys were an unexpected surprise and we really enjoyed visiting them each evening.
Lovely place to stay. The Coach House was tastefully decorated and had very comfortable beds. Ideally located for Tetbury and Westonbirt Arboretum. Would definitely recommend! Thankyou Karl.
Everything was to a very high standard. Had a few issues with the fob for the gate but managed to get it sorted out swiftly. Only issue I would say would be the head height upstairs in the bedrooms and bathroom. Its not really clear from the photos and the space in the bathroom was extremely restrictive, I could barely stand up straight any where other than in the shower. Both myself and my partner are quite tall, and feel this place would not be suitable for many people who are over 6ft tall. At the least mention it somewhere in the listing and let people be aware of the limited head height before they book.
Joanne
This was our second stay at The Coach House and we had another fabulous week here. Fantastic property, superb location and we were lucky with the weather too. We will most definitely return again as we love it here and can highly recommend The Coach House to discover this beautiful part of England.
The Coach house was nicely located for us to get around, the place was clean and tidy, I would like to point out that the cleaners had left a dirty rag on the table outside, also the mop in the cupboard needs replacing, the hoover had not been emptied also. I would also reccomend some hooks downstairs for coats and also in the main bath room , apart from that we really enjoyed our stay and would highly reccomend
Lesley
We had an amazing stay at the coach house. The shared garden is breathtaking and the children really loved feeding the donkeys and seeing the chickens. The coach house was beautifully presented, clean, homely and everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was lovely to relax in and the dog loved the fire! Would definitely recommend and will be back x
Overall very good. Very comfortable and of good quality, with many nice touches. As mentioned in Feb 24, only 4 mugs and 2 dishwater tablets for one week could be better. Also some tea cups, a full set of main glasses and an oven glove would be useful and maintain the high standard. The online 'welcome pack' brochure was very helpful. The double gates were fine, especially once we stood back to let them open! The dogfriendly facilities were appreciated. Thank you!
Abigail
Beautiful cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen is well equipped. Spacious & comfortable lounge. The beds were very comfy. Hot tub was lovely. Parking is limited and a bit tight but we managed. Might be difficult if the other cottage is occupied. Overall a brilliant stay.
Couldnt recommend the coach house anymore if I tried. The house is absolutely immaculate, top quality and furnishings are 5 star, and to top it off the hot tub was perfect. Only downfall would be the difficulty getting the gates to open especially on a dangerous junction. Nethertheless we will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you
We had such a lovely stay! The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. Couldnt fault anything! Would definitely recommend
What a fabulous clean property Could do with a couple more mugs as we felt 4 was not enough if you had used and had some in dishwasher And a couple of smaller saucepans Only had 2 dishwasher tablets for a 4 night stay but did bring our own luckily as write up did say tablets provided Other than that our stay was amazing and this is just feedback to make a perfect stay even better!
We had the most wonderful time at at The Coach House. The house is immaculate and cozy with such great attention to detail. A real home from home, we didn't want to leave. The beds are really comfortable and the hot tub was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the donkeys and chickens. The location is ideal!
I had a lovely stay at the Coach House. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It was well equipped with everything you would need for a stay away from home. I really enjoyed meeting the donkeys and the chickens. Emma and Karl were really welcoming and helpful, especially when I needed help at 7 in the morning! The location is very peaceful and is in a great location for exploring other parts of the Cotswolds.
Fabulous property Everything and more provided to ensure an amazing time Fantastic location Highly recommend
Alexandra
This is our second stay and once again was fantastic . We love coming back and will do again next year . Would recommend it highly as perfect location . The hosts are there to help if needed .

Amazing property. Was nice and cosy with a plus being a private hot tub. Cottage is lovely and clean and well presented and stocked. Had a really great stay.
Alison
The property was even more fantastic in person than it was in the listing! Absolutely beautiful place with everything you could possibly need on hand. It was super accessible to all the activities we wanted to do and the host was so welcoming! Loved every minute of our stay!
Louise
Lovely holiday cottage, super roomy for 4 people. Hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, sorting any issues we had in minutes we were missing some oven gloves and coasters. They were back with us in minutes with what we requested. Never been to a self catering stay that is as well stocked as this one. No additional kitchen equipment needed, it has it all! Definitely a home away from home. Would 100 recommend
Daniella
We absolutely adored it here the safety the friendly hosts the grounds the welcome pack with all the info the handy necessities some dishwasher tablets some washing up liquid saved us buying it! the donkeys the sheep the hot tub the cottage the little village nearby the walks! The easy check in and check out! There is nothing we did not absolutely adore! Thank you so so much and well be seeing you very soon again!!!
The coach house is a beautiful cottage we had a lovely stay. It is fully kitted out with everything you need to a very high spec. Little touches like dishwasher and washing machine tablets, dressing gowns, slippers and umbrellas were all very useful. Plenty of space, very comfortable and my children loved going to see the chickens in the garden. Hot tub was a real win! The location is great to access bathBristol as well as the Cotswolds and we enjoyed westonbirt arboretum. The only quibble was the gardener starts work very early each morning so we were woken up with hedge trimming and lawn mowing.
Michael
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Coach House. It had all the facilities we needed and more. The property is very well maintained comfortable and clean and the welcome pack was excellent. We really appreciated the provision of the EV charger which saved us any concern about finding a charger locally at a busy time of year. We would definitely stay again.
Jacqui
Gorgeous coach house with lovely attention to detail. High quality building, interior fittings and furnishings. Owners are easy to contact and able to provide local recommendations. Lovely hot tub area. They also provided use of their large garden to walk our dog early morning and before bed. Cottage has everything you need. The only items that could be useful to help protect furniture are cup coasters and dining table mats.
What a lovely cottage, I will Stay there again, the cottage was top Of the range. All the furnishings were at the very high standard, and the beds were so comfy I could have stayed there. The hosts were lovely and happy for you to use the shared garden, which had donkeys and lambs, also chicken which didnt disturb our stay, a truly lovely addition. I will recommend to family and friends. Which I have already done.
Graham
We had a great week at the Coach House. A very clean and very comfortable property with all the things we could need. We enjoyed the hot tub which was new for us. Good location, easy to find. Would certainly recommend this property.
Absolutely stunning accommodation, spotlessly clean and all the facilities you could need. The location was great for travelling around the Cotswolds. The first time in a long time we didn't want to come home. 1010
Valerie
Really lovely stay, decor very tastefully done The only thing was lack of anti slip mat and hand rail in shower but rectified immediately, owners so welcoming and shared garden a delight. Thank you , will definitely be back . Valerie
I cant speak highly enough of how incredible this setting is for a break! We spent 9 days there and every part of experience was incredible. The little touches when you arrive and throughout the stay make it so special! Emma is so kind and accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and settled. An added bonus were the gorgeous animals in the shared garden which our 2 year old loved! She was allowed to help in feeding the rescue animals and even got to have a donkey ride! The coach house itself is a home from home, with so many amenities and nothing you could want or think of that it didnt have. With a hot tub to top it off I can honestly say we would recommend to anyone and want to return again in the future. Thanks so much for the most amazing stay! X
We really enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. It is beautifully decorated but you still feel able to relax. The grounds are lovely and you have the added bonus of being able to walk to the arboretum. The hosts couldnt have been more friendly or helpful
Joanne
Five Stars all round! The Coach House delivered on all levels, exceeding our expectations and we had the most amazing week at this luxury holiday home. The property catered for our every need, super clean, extremely comfortable and the owners have gone above and beyond to ensure occupants feel at home and welcome. The property is ideally located and we visited many of the local towns and cities during our stay, with the added bonus of the use of their fabulous gardens, which our dog thoroughly enjoyed, especially meeting the donkeys, chickens and even two little lambs! This was our first time visiting this gorgeous part of England and we would definitely return to The Coach House in the future. A huge thank you to Emma for her warmth and welcoming us onto her property, we hope to see you again soon x
