Bicton Lea is a beautifully finished large stone house located near Clun and the beauty of Clun Valley. The accommodation provides a high-quality location for two families or a large group, a luxurious base for a holiday in the Shropshire Hills.
The ground floor has a large kitchen with breakfast bar, amply sized and fitted out to cater for your full complement of guests. The dining room stretches into the conservatory and has seating facilities to match your party size.
If seated dining is too formal, there is a separate TV room designed with viewing pleasure in mind with its outsized wall-mounted television and three seater recliner sofa. The sitting area is large enough for your full group, with two luxurious L-shaped sofas to sit around the woodburner fire and look out at the stunning views.
There are five bedrooms on the first floor; one king size, three doubles and one twin. The beautifully maintained lawns lead you out to a property highlight, a summer house with outdoor hot tub, perfect for relaxing on warm sunny evenings.
Or for those not keen on the bubbles, a large patio picnic table is located outside. If you can tear yourself away from your luxurious base, two miles away is Clun where you can have a pub meal or picnic near the river and castle ruins before embarking on the Clun Valley Heritage Trail.
There are half a dozen Walkers are Welcome towns in the vicinity, of which Clun is one, but if you fancy heading further afield then the charms of Ludlow are a 20 mile ride away. Bicton Lea is ideal for large groups or two families to have a high-quality, peaceful base for a holiday in the Shropshire Hills.
