Sleep peacefully in the eaves of the cottage, choosing from a twin or a double room. Both are wonderfully decorated with cheerful colour schemes, and served by a rainfall shower room.

Dip in the hot tub and feel the bubbles soothing your aches and pains. The hot tub includes Bluetooth connection for you to play your favourite tunes as you soak.

Within a short distance is Ludlow's historical and culinary delights, mapped out on medieval streets with the shadow of its castle as a backdrop. Choose from shopping and dining, with fabulous walking and cycling routes on offer too!

Acorn Cottage Reviews

Just returned from our stay. Lots of lovely touches such as dressing gowns, toiletries and a little hamper of goodies to start the holiday. Was really cozy and ideal for what we needed for the week. We explored Ludlow Castle, Ludlow Brewery and even had time for a cream. Such a lovely location will definitely recommend and rebook.
Incredibly generous hospitality, with a warm welcome and a warm farewell. Impeccably clean property with a number of exquisite touches, not least the hand made oak bed in the master bedroom. Stunningly comfortable single beds in the second bedroom made for a thoroughly relaxing and rejuvenating night's sleep. Hot tub was the best we've experienced in 10 years of hot tub holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our holiday. Book this cottage to guarantee satisfaction!
We loved our stay here. The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed for a lovely, relaxing stay. The outside area is perfect and the hot tub is amazing. The kids also loved it here. Walked to The Salwey Arms, which wed also recommend. A great weekend all round!

We had a fantastic stay at Acorn Cottage. The hosts were very welcoming and the property was well equipped and clean. There are some lovely features in the cottage and nice touches such as games and dvds provided. Particular credit goes to the meticulous upkeep of the hot tub, with the owner checking it daily which was much appreciated. The cottage is in a great location too, close to lots of lovely places to visit. We hope to be back soon!
This is an amazing property, one of the best weve stayed in. The pictures dont do it justice, especially the master bedroom which has a hand carved wooden bed not shown in the pictures which was beautiful and comfortable. Lovely welcoming hosts who were available but not obtrusive. Welcome basket on arrival greatly appreciated with fresh milk and orange juice. Great hot tub and outdoor area lovely views of the countryside. Would recommend a visit to Ludlow farm shop and Carding Mill Valley National Trust site. Would highly recommend a stay here, we will hopefully be back again soon!
Maggie

Really lovely cottage, hot tub was the best I've ever used and the owner was really helpful, can highly recommend
One of the best holiday cottages we have been in, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The facilities and the welcome pack, first class.
Beautiful cottage in a lovely, peaceful, scenic location. Pete gave us a nice warm, welcoming greeting on arrival and gave us a quick overview of the cottage and its facilities. A welcome pack with fresh milk, juice, crisps and biscuits was a lovely touch. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the hottub was excellent and we enjoyed relaxing in it at the end of each day. We genuinely couldn't have wished for a nicer stay for the week lovely, unobtrusive hosts, a fabulous cottage with everything we needed for our stay, and a wonderful location to relax. Would definitely recommend Acorn Cottage to all. Thank you to our hosts, all our best wishes, John & Joanne

We had a lovely time at Acorn Cottage, beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. Definitely a home from home feeling for the entire stay. The cottage has clearly been well thought out and lots of care given to all the small details. Great base for exploring Leominster and Ludlow and walking routes in the local area. The cottage is in a partial dark sky area and we were so lucky to have a few cloudless nights watching the stars from the hot tub! Definitely somewhere we would want to go back to.
Great welcome from hosts. Well equipped, clean , cosy cottage and good outdoor space with decking and easy to use hot tub. Welcome pack a lovely surprise. Thank you. Lots of places to visit from the cottage. We would love to visit again for longer next time !

Excellent place to stay. We loved it so much we have booked to stay again soon! Attention to detail and personal touches made this cottage a dream cottage. When you arrive there is a pint of milk and brew kit already there and small important things like S&P, cooking oil, cleaning products and a dishwasher. There is a lovely welcome gift and the owners have kindly provided dressing gowns to make your stay really comfortable. There are games, dvds and books to keep everyone entertained and the hot tub is brilliant! The owners have though of everything and are so helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Wonderful cottage in an idyllic setting
Valerie
Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and well equipped property, in a quiet location, but very convenient for Ludlow and surrounding area. The hottub was great after clambering over numerous castles. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Happy to recommend this property.
Stephen
A wonderful place to stay, relax and explore the beautiful surroundings! Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and keen to ensure we had any support needed to make the most of our stay! Highly recommend and very likely to return ourselves.
A lovely cottage in a great location with stunning views. Pete and Karen are fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful. The cottage was incredibly clean and we loved the homely touches and welcome treats. In the evenings we star gazed whist relaxing in the hot tub which was wonderful.
Andrew
Acorn cottage was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could think of. Exceptionally welcoming hosts where nothing is too much trouble. Karen certainly has an eye for detail so were sure the Hobbit House which is their new project, shortly to be ready to rent ,will be just as outstanding. The hot tub was an added bonus which was used each day especially by grandchildren. Would highly recommend this property .
Christina
What a wonderful cottage with fantastic hosts. The little extra touches were most welcome and as owners they thought of everything. The hot tub was a lovely addition great way to wind down after a busy day out and about. The location is great lots of lovely places to visit locally and we used it as a base to go farther afield too. The cottage was well equipped with everything a family needs for a short stay. Our children loved having a TV in their room, a nice treat that they dont have at home. Overall, Acorn Cottage is a lovely home from home which we would definitely recommend to others and wouldnt hesitate booking again.
Adrian
I went there with my wife and my little son , the owner was very friendly and helpful, they prepared everything need it for the baby in the house . Really happy and I will definitely go back again and would recommend to everyone.
Fantastic stay in a wonderful property, so well thought through as a holiday cottage and Peter & Karen are excellent hosts.
We really enjoyed our stay at Acorn Cottage. Facilities were very good, we wanted to save a bit, so we stayed in to eat a few times, which was perfect. Shower room very good, comfy beds too. Plenty of room in the kitchen and sitting room. Pete checked we were in ok, and was on hand for any queries.
Lovely place and lovely people. Will definitely be staying here again
A great holiday home, one of the best we have ever stayed in. I can't think of anything that would improve the property. Friendly owner, great location and peace and quiet. We used the hot tub every day too.
A lovely friendly welcome to a beautiful cottage. Set in a relaxing quiet area of the country with nothing but the sound of birds and sheep. The welcome hamper and chocolates was a great touch. The cottage has all equipment needed for self catering and the hot tub was enjoyed by all after our day trips out. Big thanks to Peter and Karen
Lovely accommodation with a nice welcome treat from the owners, excellent accommodation guide. Overall a fantastic break.
Jillian
Acorn cottage is set in a beautiful peaceful location. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you could want for a break away. The attention to detail is amazing, its a credit to Karen and Peter who are the owners The outside seating area and hot tub was a real added bonus. A peaceful place to sit and just enjoy the sounds of the bird song while enjoying an early morning cuppa, or evening drink. We always worry when a cottage is so near to the owners home, but we didnt need to as they give you totally privacy but are on hand should you need them. We would 100 recommended this beautiful cottage.you wont be disappointed.
Met by Peter who was extremely helpful. The place was spotless and the facilities great with all the relevant information at hand. Being the coronation weekend the little touches such as flags and cushions didnt go unnoticed thank you! Just what we wanted for a relaxing getaway we will certainly be back.
Steven
The cottage was everything that was advertised. The hot tub is a great addition and was checked every day by Peter the owner. Could not fault anything !
Louise
Amazing holiday cottage. Lots of added extras that made for a fantastic stay. We will be back.

Rebecca
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! The welcome goodies were great and the owners were very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The hot tub was a plus on cold nights!
The only thing the hot tub wouldn't stay on very long , temp needs to be turned up
Absolutely lovely find. Acorn cottage is beautiful and cosy. Very well equipped with everything we needed for a girls weekend away. Some lovely walks around the area and highly recommended the local pub Selway Arms which has delicious food. Lovely welcome by Pete on arrival really made us feel at home with a lovely basket of goodies. The hot tub was an added bonus and needed. Had an all round excellence stay and highly recommend. We will be back..looking forward to seeing the new build next year!!
Richard
Acorn Cottage was perfect. It was clean, cosy and very well equipped with everything you are likely to need. The welcome pack was a lovely thoughtful surprise, and best of all was the hot tub, a lovely way to spend an evening looking at the stars, listening to the Owls and watching the Bats darting about. Even when it was raining it was great!
Stephen
Clean and comfortable accommodation and very well equipped. Would certainly recommend.
Well equipped comfortable house, lovely welcome pack . Nice area to explore.
We had a great stay at Acorn cottage, the facilities provided were to a high standard. The cottage had everything that we required if not more, the welcome basket was a really nice touch and we enjoyed all its contents. Pete and Karen respected our privacy for the whole week however if we needed anything were on hand to help. The hot tub is maintained to a very high standard in which we used this every day. I would highly recommend this cottage if you are wanting a nice relaxing holiday, it really is a home from home to which I would hope to return back to in the future. The only thing that I could suggest is that maybe there could of been a bbq but this is just our preference
