Old Hall Barn 3 Reviews

Rachel
A great place to stay, everything was perfect upon arrival. Felt very at home during our stay. Comfortable beds too. The hot tub was a perfect addition which we made the most of. Will definitely be making another booking very soon.
Absolutely loved our weekend break here. The location was gorgeous and property was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The hottub and the room it was in was a fantastic place to relax and the welcome cake on arrival was a lovely touch. We would definitely recommend and book again. Thank you for fantastic stay.
The barn was lovely and plenty big enough for all 6 of us. It was lovely and clean. It was however not very warm. It was the first weekend of the cold autumn season and temperatures had dropped a lot the barn was really quite chilly. Try as we did we could not get the central heating to work on our first evening. Luckily there was an electric fire in the living room that was quite efficient. We spoke to the owners next morning and they couldn't see why it was working and so decided it must be because it was too warm, it was not warm. The heating did not work all weekend. Also be aware that the hot tub is in a room away from the main barn and you have to walk out in the general courtyardparking area to get to it so make sure you take something to cover up in. The hot tub was a great size and had plenty room for 6 adults. Could have been a bit hotter though. The barn is in a great place if you enjoy walking with easy access to the Long Mynd. A 30 minute walk along a road with a footpath brings you into lovely Church Stretton.
A fabulous cottage and hot tub. Very comfortable only down side the wifi a bit hit and miss. Won't usually bother us but I had a bit of work to do. In a great location for walking and getting about. Local pub TheYew Tree does fabulous food. Reasonable priced.
Heather
Beautiful property, absolutely spotless! Very spacious and very well equipped. Lovely location, quiet but close enough to walk into local townamenities. Easy to book, checkin and checkout. Would certainly return and recommend to others.
Lovely setting and enjoyed exploring the area. Property was much bigger than we expected and had everything we could have needed. Really enjoyed our stay thank you
Joanne
We just returned from a lovely stay in Old Barn 3. The barn itself is in a beautiful area with lovely views of the hills around. The barn itself was clean and spacious with everything you could need for a break. We will definitely return again to stay.
Claire
We found Old Hall Barn to be a perfect getaway for our group and dogs. The scenery was beautiful and we had the pleasure of enjoying a well maintained outdoor space and garden along with a hot tub that is enclosed its own area. The cottage itself was a great size and in a good location. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and cant wait to return for another visit.
Rachel
We were impressed by the size of all rooms in the barn, the living spaces and bedrooms were more then ample. Parking was great, hottub and surrounding area was clean and sizeable. Would definitely recommend and use again.
Andrew
Beautiful property, cleanliness 1st class, added bonus the owners are on site daily. The hot tubs are checked every morning, only advice I would give take beach towels, and possibly some drying facilities ie washing line. The village has some wonderful places to eat. Had a wonderful week highly recommended
Debbie
The cottage was lovely. It would have been nice to have towels for the hot tub and robes as you have to walk out into the shared area to get to it. A must is a walk up to the Lightspout, it is beautiful.
This such a cosy and welcoming cottage. It is well equipped and comfortable with everything that is needed for a great stay. It's in a beautiful and quiet but very convenient location. We will definitely be making a return visit.
Joseph
As always, thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to OHB3. Had a problem with the hot tub on the first evening which was resolved very quickly by the hosts as soon as we called to report the issue, so thanks for the excellent service. See you again next year no doubt!

Patricia
The house is so comfortable, has everything you need. The master bedroom is lovely, would be even better if it was en suite. It's a shame floor in the hallway has been ruined with the wet of outside or hot tub could do with a long runner. Stairs a bit creaky when getting up in the middle of the night for the toilet. But loved the house, the area and definitely the hot tub.
We loved our stay at Old Barn 3, the place was clean, tidy and very comfortable. We would stay again with friends. The local area is lovely too. We were disappointed that although advertised as downstairs being dog friendly, our well behaved dog was actually only allowed in the living room and hall way, which made it feel more of a dog tolerant property, not dog friendly.
Charlotte
What a delightful stay we experienced at 3 old hall barn, our family came to celebrate a birthday. The lounge is spacious with ample of seating the beds are comfortable. We loved the hot tub being enclosed in the separate barn. The only thing we didnt enjoy was waiting for the shower each morning and after we used the hot tub, could have done with an extra shower. Thank you for the lovely cake it didnt last long.
This is such a lovely cottage so warm, cosy and welcoming and really well equipped. We like it so much that we are coming back in May. There are so many things to do in the area too.
Carolann
Absolutely spot on had everything we needed would love to go back again.
Shirley
We had a fabulous stay. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the facilities in the cottage were great, we all loved the living room. The Barn was central for us exploring the local area too Ironbridge, Much Wenlock
Lovely place, spacious and comfortable. Great location with everything on your doorstep and the hot tub was a bonus! We would definitely book again.
Sharon
Shared garden with neighbour who never had the dogs on a lead not good when they kept coming near my dogs, and would not leave them alone ,even when called by their owner. I would not book barn 3 again due to the lack of own garden. Great place to stay. Very clean barn, well equipped. Would not say totally dog friendly. Beautiful area lovely walks. I will definitely be back, but in the barns that have their own garden.
Beautiful property and location. Owners are lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub every night however it was difficult to dry towels without a dryer or outside washing line. Awesome location for exploring, thank you so much for letting us stay.
Great place for a family holiday. Ideal spot to explore the Shropshire hills and surrounding towns. Barn had everything we needed and a lovely hot tub. Would recommend.
Nicholas
Excellent cottage. Great location. Fantastic information in the box. Perfect for families or couples seeking to explore the area, and particularly those who love the great outdoors. Would have preferred more information on bins, as would like to have recycled. The bed on the ground floor was perfectly fine but a bit springy and past its best. Would have preferred a stand alone shower, but I appreciate that isnt what was offered!
Christine
Lovely location very close to Church Stretton but friendly village with a pub. Accommodation was very comfortable and provided everything you need for your self catering holiday. Hot tub was especially nice after a long day exploring the beautiful countryside of Shropshire.
Perfect property for our walking holiday. Kitchen well equipped. Thank you for technical support when we couldnt work out how to use tv ! Loved the benches and seating outside.
Stephen
Lovely cottage, great location and area. Loved the hot tub. The whole family really enjoyed our stay and want to return. The only two small criticisms were that we could have done with some extra towels for the hot tub and that the cafetire wasnt working! Other than that perfect!

We had a lovely week, at barn 3, this place is amazing, very comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you would need, I couldnt get the heating on, and called the owner they were there very quickly and dealt with it, the grounds are lovely and well kept, waking up in the countryside no traffic noise, just the sound of birds and sheep, will definitely go back there
Deborah
Had a wonderful stay very relaxing in beautiful surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring and walking in carding Mill valley and visiting and eating out in the village. Thank you
Perfect. Cottage was exatly as described well equipped and comfy. Hot tub was amazing with great views. Location was perfect so many walks car wasnt needed. Will definitely be returning.
Lorraine
Lovely stay will be going back
Jennifer
Had a lovely, relaxing week. Great location with so many walks on the doorstep. Bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Hot tub is a nice extra. Outdoor space is great for the dog. A dvd player would have been handy for the kids but not a massive issue. In all, it was a really nice week.
Elizabeth

We loved this property and had a really happy time. Highlights included the hot tub, the very comfy lounge with Sky TV and the well equipped kitchen. The only reason for the comfort rating not being excellent is that the bedding felt rather limp and old. I feel a but mean saying that because everything else was great but it was quite noticeable. Everything else was great and we will definitely consider a second visit.
Geoffrey
Lovely property stunning surroundings and walks ,will be definitely be back in the summer
Alison

Fantastic cottage. Very spacious, warm and clean, with lovely views. All in all home from home! Has everything you would need.
Victoria
Had an amazing week stay here. The cottage was perfect. Spotless, comfortable and spacious with a real homely feeling and the grounds were clean and peaceful. The hottub just added to an already perfect break away Booked for Christmas 2023 but will definitely be back before then.
