The cottage was a wonderful treat hidden on the shores of Northern Scotland. It was a treat to find and experience the wonderful views around the farm land and surrounding towns. The location gives perfect access to silence and tranquility to enjoy your own peace whilst treated to the warmth of the hot tub on a snowing night. Rooms were comfortableRead more, clean and afforded privacy. Equipment worked perfectly and I was treated to the coffee machine and dishwasher. Don't often see these. Hide

Where do I start...what an amazing place!! Cabin was just fantastic. So comfortable, spotless, everything we needed was there. Views were spectacular!! Was lovely to sit in the hot tub looking out to blue waters. We are a family of 4 (mum, dad, x2 daughters ages 8 and 5) there was plenty of room for us all. Garden space was great for outdoor play. And it was safe. Lovely wee villages to visit within short driving distance away. Beaches were lovely and clean. Lovely relaxing week. Thank you.

Part of me really wants to keep this little gem quiet (for purely selfish reasons!) and the other part really wants other people to know about it. We had the most amazing week here.... the peace, tranquility and sheer beauty of the location was just what we needed. The owners are exceptional hosts and include so many thoughtful touches to make your stay perfect. The lodges are amazing... really comfortable and beautifully appointed. Lots to do in the area too so you'll be spoilt for choice.

Beautiful location, we saw dolphins everyday. Compact, well equipped & very comfortable. Recommend boat trip from Cromarty , Exo Tour, great dolphins & bird spotting experience.

The cabin we stayed in was beautiful, very clean and well looked after. They check the hot tub chemicals everyday too. The views out to the sea are stunning! The owner is lovely and very friendly, she invited us up to see and have cuddles with the lambs which was so nice. The kids absolutely loved it and didnt want to come home! So we are going to book again for next year.

A well equiped lodge in an amazing location. Very comfortable for a family of four. The hot tub was also very welcome either at the start of the day or on your return at night, with the views it's a very nice place to relax in. If you want peace and queit in place to get away from the everyday life stresses this is the place. The cottage has everyt hing you need including dressing gowns and towels. The beds are also made up for your arrival.

Absolutely breathtaking views. The place was spotless. I will definitely be returning. Les was brilliant

Excellent location and views. Lodge was very cozy. Beds were really comfortable. Quite steep walks from lodges but this goes with its location and views which are excellent. Found plenty to do in our weeks stay and some really nice woodland walks near Tain, some nice restaurants within easy driving distance.
Graeme
Couldn't fault the Pod in anyway. Great location, so peaceful. The views are amazing. So relaxing in the hot tub. On a clear night you can see across The Moray Firth to Nairn and The Cairngorms beyond. Twice seen huge cruise liners passing by. A good base to explore The Highlands and North of Scotland.

This is a gem of a find and we will go back it did the job that we were looking for peace and solitude and everything there to have a memorable break 5 stars to Les and her team and oh by the way the on site bakery produces amazing bread first class

This is a fabulous property with stunning views. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Plenty to do within a short drive. The beach at Dornoch is a must! Would definitely go back and have already recommended to friends.
Magdalena
5 Breath taking scenic view, complimented with a stunning hot tub lodge. So well equipped, it has everything you need & more! Super warm and cosy, well insulated, holds the heat. Absolutely spotless, you would never know it was pet friendly! Very remote, but easy and quick access to the main road. My only feedback for improvement; the lane to the lodges has multiple pot holes, on arrival this was our only concern with a nice car.
Clare
The drive up to Castlecraig Clifftops Farm/Lodges is lovely but the minute you rise over the hill at the top you stop the car and just take a deep breath at the magnificent view that looks back at you, there are just no words to describe the feeling of peace and tranquillity that is about to wrap its arms around you whilst there. We didnt want to l eave Cromarty Lodge and Im sure it will be the same for everyone who visits.
Debra
A great base from which to explore, lovely views to get lost in and enjoy made the stay extra relaxing and really special.
Carol
Fabulous cabin with stunning views of the Moray Firth. Decor and furnishings are of a very high standard, loved the colour scheme too. Hot tub a firm favourite along with the bath robes, and had it been drier we would have tried out the fire pit/bbq too. Well appointed kitchen, the dishwasher and Nespresso machine a touch of luxury compared to othe r cabins we have stayed in. Highly recommended.
Jean
The pods were fantastic, beautiful view, hot tub lovely especially in the evenings watching the sun go down over the water. Owners couldn't have been more helpful we borrowed electric bikes and went for a long ride to the coast. We were very sad to leave .
