We loved this cosy, well-equipped cottage. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the Yorkshire Dales but still feels peaceful and secluded. The owner was really friendly and welcomingand the lovely welcome pack was a nice touch. Definitely one of our best self-catering stays in years!
Sophie
Such a lovely property, really well presented and equipped! The welcome basket and the cleanliness when we arrived were greatly appreciated.
Emily
We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is just lovelyand we had fun with the daily visits from the bunnies and ducks. The kitchen is super well equipped with everything you could possibly need, which was brilliant. It was comfy, clean and tidy. Sadly, the weather didn't permit much star gazing or bbqing, but we made the most of the evening hot tub after exploring the Yorkshire sights. The outside area is delightful with its festive lighting and a nice garden to sit in while listening to the trickling stream.
Claire
We had a fantastic time in this cottage, especially the hot tuband the welcome basket was such a nice touch. The host popped by soon after we arrived to welcome us and share some tips on where to eat locally. The cottage was really clean and modernand felt homely from the first night. The location was amazingand we spent most nights just watching rabbits and ducks in the surrounding area!
James
What a fabulous cottage! It's so lovely and clean. We met the host on our first dayand they were really friendly and helpful. It’s about a mile from Pateley Bridge, but the walk downhill through the village of Glasshouses is really nice. There are lots of places nearby to eat and have a tipple. We would absolutely recommend it and would stay again for sure!
Emma
The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and really well equipped. The views from the windows are just gorgeous and even though the cottage is on a farm, it’s so quiet. There’s loads of wildlife for the enthusiasts too. The hot tub is such a welcome relief after returning from one of the many walks Nidderdale has to offer!
Emily
What a beautiful location and cottage! We really had a lovely stay and enjoyed every moment.
Charlotte
What a lovely little cottage this is, nestled on a small holding! The owners live next door and were super friendly, always helpful but never intrusive. The beautiful scenery right on the doorstep is a treat, plus there’s an abundance of wildlife (don’t forget your binoculars!). We found the kitchen to be very well equipped, with a large fridge and a decent sized freezer. The beds were comfortable and the shower in the en-suite was good. The hot tub was clean and well maintained, which we appreciated. We made good use of Netflix on the rainy nights we had. We will definitely be returning as there’s lots to do and see in the surrounding area!
Claire
This was the most beautiful, cosy cottage we could ask for. They really thought of everything you could possibly need like wood for the outdoor fire, teabagsand even milk inside! The welcome basket was a lovely touch. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely love to return for another holiday.
James
This place was superb and faultless! We’ve stayed in a number of UK self-catering spots since 2020, but this one was definitely the best. They put in a great effort to keep everything immaculately cleanand the provision of crockery and utensils was spot on. The location was amazing and the owners were really friendly, always helpful with local tips. And we can't forget the all-important dealbreaker - the welcome hamper was the most generous we've seen. Plus, we got to feed the resident pigs and enjoy eggs laid fresh by their hens. Highly recommended!
James
This was our second visit to The Dairyand once again we enjoyed a really relaxing holiday. The location is great, the cottage is super comfyand the sun actually shone! We’re definitely hoping to come back and would highly recommend it to others.
Oliver
