Great cottage, amazing views and very helpful owners.

We were thrilled with Wern Olan cottage ! It exceeded our expectations above & beyond. The owners were lovely & really helpful. Sykes Cottages were also very helpful when I had to phone them about an error Id made when booking they resolved it quickly & efficiently. Thank you.
This is our second visit to Wern Olau. Its such a beautiful cottage with everything you would need including a lovely welcome pack and lots of little touches to make our stay perfect. Great hosts, spotlessly clean and the owners are very approachable. After a long day exploring North Wales and Snowdonia its great to come back to the hot tub and relax. We will defiantly be back again

We stayed in Ween Olau Cottage as a family of 4. The cottage is beautiful, we received a fabulous welcome package and the cottage was equipped with everything you could ever need. The beds are amazingly comfy, especially the master. The jacuzzi was a great addition although note it is across the drive at the front of the cottage, where from the pictures we thought it was on a balcony at the back. The views and sunsets from the jacuzzi however are fabulous. We also thought that we would have access to the large grassed garden at the back, but this belongs to the owners property next door, so there isnt anywhere for the kids to be able to play. We had a very enjoyable week, and have no hesitation in recommending the cottage, it really is lovely. You will also have the company of 3 very friendly cats which my kids loved!
Rebecca
A beautiful property in a lovely location so many places close by to visit. The spacious jacuzzi was fabulous after a day out and about.
Nicola
Excellent place couldnt fault it. Lots of space, clean and comfortable.

What a fantastic property! We had such a good time for my Dad's 60th Birthday get away! All 5 of us that stayed had a lovely time, and it was so spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was great! With sun all day on it, it really was like being abroad around a pool! There was ample parking, and the owners were very friendly, accommodating while also giving you privacy. We will definitely look to book again another time!
Joanna

I have been in quite a few cottages that were lovely and comfortable, but nothing compares to this one . It was my daughters 40th birthday .my two daughters my sister granddaughter & myself were made more than welcome it extended everything we hoped for, memories of the best kind . We certainly will return again . I wish the owners all the luck in the world they truly deserve it, thank you so very much
This cottage was up to Sykes' usual high standard. Well equipped, very comfortable and friendly hosts. The location was also good for visiting the area. The welcome pack was a lovely touch...Thank you.
We had the most amazing time staying in wern olau. The cottage is well equipped and you can tell everything has been done to a high standard. The owners are lovely and very friendly whilst remaining completely unobtrusive. Staying here with a child was great, high chair, stair gates and facilities for the little one were great. We always say we would like to go back to nice places we have stayed and often dont get round to booking. On this occasion we loved it so much we booked to go back in July before we had even left. Great holiday, great location, overall great holiday thank you so much!

Owners were amazing and very accommodating, the place was tidy and everything we could possibly need was provided. Nearby pubs and supermarkets made life very easy and also a short drive to all of Snowdonias attractions. Hot tub was in a great location over looking the nearby fields, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable, you can certainly tell that no costs were cut when refurbishing this beautiful place. 100 recommend to a group of friends or families, we will definitely be back.
Very cosy was the perfect stay

Great stay, lovely house, great host! Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go again
We had a beautiful stay in this stunning property. Every year we go away with the girls and this year the property certainly didnt let us down. The kitchenlounge had so much space and was very homely. The bedrooms were gorgeous and beds very comfortable. The views were outstanding and the hot tub was perfect. We would definitely recommend.
Fabulous home from home. We really enjoyed yn sunsets from the hottub absolutely breathtaking. I cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you so much for our stay. We will be back very soon.
Bridget
A lovely cottage, with beautiful views. Bed were so comfortable!! Kitchen well equipped. Everything you need for a very peaceful and relaxing holiday
A beautiful well equipped property in a beautiful part of North Wales. On arrival we were greeted with chocolates and wine which was a great start! Safe for young children as ample stair gates are supplied, although the highchair harness has possibly seen better days. The main bedroom super king size bed was extremely comfy and fit two adults and a restless baby no problem! The second bedrooms mattress and quality of bedding unfortunately didnt quite match up, however my parents still reported they slept well. Beautiful, clean hot tub with gorgeous views! We would highly recommend.
Lawrence
Highly recommended. We had a really good time.
Lovely owners very helpful and friendly. If we go to north wales again we would not hesitate to go back to Wern Olau Cottage.
Jessica
Absolutely beautiful property. Lovely little slice of heaven with everything you might need for the perfect holiday.
William
Superbly equipped with great views over the Irish sea and Anglesey. Charming hosts who made us feel very welcome and dealt with any minor issues very promptly. Highly recommended.
An excellent stay, in a wonderful property with great views. We visited over Easter as a family of four kids aged 11 & 15. Loved the property kids were very pleased with wifi and the upside down living. The gifts on arrival were a lovely gesture and were backed up by the friendliness of the owners throughout our stay. Great location if you're driving everything within 30 60 mins reach and a relaxing place to return to after a day out.
The house was so clean and had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub... Thankyou!
This cottage was absolutely stunning and the stay was amazing! The pictures really do not do it justice! If you are looking for a luxury countryside escape, this is the place for you. The scenery was out of this world and nothing can compare to watching the sunset in the hot tub. It was blissful. The pictures only show two bedrooms when in fact it actually has three and the entire house is just beautiful. You can really tell that they take real pride in their property and 5 stars is more than deserved. The owners have really gone out of their way to make sure that the house has everything you could possibly need and the place is so clean and comfortable that it really feels like a home away from home. All you need to bring is your clothes, toiletries and food. Everything else is waiting for you and we even arrived to some Prosecco and chocolates which was an unexpected and lovely gesture. Around the house there is also lots of leaflets and information about fun things that you can do during your stay which was super helpful and there were even local takeaway leaflets should you need them. The house is attachednext to the owners house but do not let this deter you as the lovely owners didnt bother us once. We had complete privacy and felt as comfortable as we would have felt in our own homes and we really didnt want to leave! The owners were very friendly and introduced themselves when we arrived and then left us to it for the whole weekend, but were just a call away should we have needed anything. Had they not introduced themselves, we would have never even known they were there. Thats how much privacy we had! Thank you for the stay!!
Robert
This is a fantastic property very well equipped and to a very high standard Well situated for the coast and the mountains. Fabulous host who responded straight away to requests

We would highly recommend a stay at this property. We enjoyed our weeks stay and would definitely return in the future. We loved how the property was upside down living. It very comfortable and modern.
Brilliant from beginning to the end, situation of the property fabulous, owners very helpful and to top it all fab weather for September. Would recommend this to anyone as it was recommended by our son and daughterinlaw to us.
Jonathan
Amazing property, very well equipped throughout from kitchen to bedrooms and bathrooms and all very clean. Location is fantastic for visiting North Wales, with fantastic views over to Anglesey. Owners and animals were all very welcoming. Welcome pack is a nice touch, the Proseco didnt last long!
Michael
We have stayed in many holiday rentals over the years and this was the best one ever. The cottage is extremely well equipped, was clean, comfortable and quiet. The fixtures, fittings and furniture are of a good quality and there was nothing else we could have wanted. There were even enough consumables such as toilet rolls, cloths, dish washing and laundry products provided to last the whole week. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.
