Malham Number 7 Rudd Lake Reviews

Beautiful clean accommodation with a stunning view over the lake. Enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hot tub. Would go again. Loved it
Andrew
Listed as having WiFi totally inaccurate, nothing connects to it even the smart TV's in the Van do not work with it . Had to use own mobile hotspot to use them so will need good data plan , rest of rental was fine particularly the hot tub and impressed with the site very well kept with some lovely views....will return but not here .
Overall a lovely lodge facing the lake. Very comfortable and clean. Hot tub was super. Would have been nice to have a welcome pack with instructions for the heating and hot water etc. The tvs in the bedroom are totally at the wrong angle to watch in bed, would be better on a swivel bracket. The decking was cleaned when needed, because of the overhanging trees. Although we were expecting to take our own towels, we did not expect to have to buy toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets when they wanted us to use the dishwasher on the last day. Please be careful of steps up to the decking as they were very slippery.
Impressed with onsite customer service the hot tub had a leak 2 days into my vacation. Park staff were on it as soon as I reported the issue on a Sunday morning and sorted it by the afternoon. The caravan was very comfortable and clean. Location on the lake was perfect and peaceful. Will definitely return.
There were a couple of issues beforeearly in the booking, but they were both resolved and ended on a happy note! Apart from the issues above, it was a fantastic break. The location of the caravan was incredible, right on the lake with a great view of Tattershall castle. The caravan itself was immaculately clean, modern and tidy. Honestly the best caravan We've ever stayed in. It feels like we struck gold with this one, truly breathtaking. We loved it, and if you'll have us, we may well come back.
Christine
The accommodation was spacious and clean. The owner sorted a slight problem for us immediately thank you. We stay in many lodgescaravans throughout UK and whilst we found the kitchen to be well equipped, essential items such as washing up liquid, bath hand soap and more than 1 toilet roll are needed. We have always been able to access a hairdryer and iron but these were not available and we had to take our own on this occasion. Information about the appliances, site and surrounding places to visiteat would have enhanced our stay.
Loved it here Especially the views and the hot tub Really comfortable lodge Need a few more essentials such as bin bags, iron, more tea towels and toilet rolls.
Suzanne
We had an amazing weekend, loved being so close to the water with the wildlife all around us. Hot tub fantastic, managed to make the kids tired and in bed early

Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 22 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 22 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
