Standing stones was the absolute heart of our holiday . Steve and Ali were such fantastic hosts. The scones made my Ali were delicious. The cottage is actually bigger than it looks, and the decor and cleanliness was spot on. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the hot tub, was a lovely touch watching the sun go down while all warm in the tub. The grounds was perfect for our spaniel who loved running around in the countryside. The best holiday!

Glen
We really enjoyed our stay at Standing Stones. The property was in superb condition and the location was stunning. Our hosts, Ali and Steve were very kind and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasurable. We were looking for a balance of close access to the sea (15 minutes walk down the hill) combined with the tranquillity of living in the co untry. Standing Stones ticks all those boxes. We highly recommend it.
Claire
Really stunning, clean and cosy cottage, gorgeous views and an enclosed garden for the dog with stunning walks on the doorstep. Be aware that to walk out of the property into Newlyn is down a steep hill with narrow footpaths. Its less than a 10min walk down but double that to get back
Carolyn

Janis
Lovely comfortable cottage on the outskirts of Newlyn. Very quiet. Gorgeous views and sunsets. Well equipped and beautifully decorated. On top of a hill (a very steep hill) so although the centre of Newlyn is only a 15 minute walk away be prepared for a bracing climb back. Walks from the cottage door across fields and along footpaths, bridleways an d quiet lanes. Walk to Mousehole or along the promenade to Penzance. There are so many things to see and do in this beautiful corner of Cornwall.
Paula
Lovely place, perfect base
Canice

Tracy
The most wonderful hosts, all the little touches for humans and dogs (PROPER coffee as well as milk, fresh scones with jam and clotted cream, dog treats, towels and tennis ball) upon arrival were greatly appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble and the hot tub under the stars was fantastic. Fantastic walks for the dogs just on the door step. Will definitely go back!
Neil
Standing Stones Cottage is perfect in every way. We have just enjoyed the most relaxing and comfortable week in this lovely holiday cottage. The cream tea on arrival was a fabulous way to start our holiday and we were lucky enough to have the sun shining and be able to enjoy it outside in the garden. The views onto the garden and fields beyond are very special and we have so enjoyed our walks straight out onto the fields every morning with our little dog. A perfect week's holiday. Thank you
Angela

samantha
Great place to stay, amazing location, very relaxing....Peaceful and great hosts. Will be back for sure.
Elaine
We loved Standing Stones. Wonderful views as it sits on the top of a hill overlooking fields. Great walks for our dog and also a fenced garden which contained our Jack Russell, which was a bonus. Wood fired hot tub available if you give notice. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, cream tea and a bottle of wine on arrival. Approach to the cot tage along the Lane is narrow and there is a single parking space but access to a field for easier turning and parking.
