Barbondale Reviews

A great 'glamping pod'. Very well presented facilities excellent had everything we needed and more! Great location with just a short drive into Kirkby Lonsdale itself, to lots of 'free' parking, before we set off on our walking trails with our Labrador, Mabel. The hot tub was very welcome after completing many miles walking through the beautiful countryside. Just one mall request for the future could there be 4 pillows 2 each please. Would definitely return!
Daniel
Fantastic stay, will definitely be returning.
Louise
We Had a fabulous few days at Barbondale pod, nestled in a peaceful area we was lucky there was only one other pod occupied so it was very quiet. Stunning views looking across the fields. The weather didnt spoil our stay.
Fantastic pod, very clean and cosy , will defo be staying again , sutuated in a good location too Couldnt fault anything. Best pods Ive ever seen and all well equipped.
Great small site. The pods are brilliant and hot tub fabulous. So greatful for the canopy over to still be able to tub in the rain. Bbq great bonus. I would perhaps suggest salt and pepper being available in the pod as had to go out and purchase. Location remote but 10 mins away from ingleton which is a great place. Would recommend

This was the first break me and my wife has had in 17 years without the kids and what a blessing it was the lodge was in perfect condition and the hot tub was ready to use straight away there in nothing we can complain about as it was just perfect and we will definitely be returning in the future.
Angela
Just returned from a lovely stay at the Lake District. Accommodation you could not fault, the whole complex is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Lovely dog walking area. They clean hottubs out for every new booking. Very central location. Thank you to your team. Angie, David, and Frenchies
Had a lovely short break at the barbondale , would definitely return , the only negative thing was that there was no toilet roll , fortunately one of the neighbouring pods had a spare so crisis avoided .
Louise
Absolutely would recommend and would book again, only issue we had was getting to ... Absolutely would recommend and would book again, only issue we had was getting to the town,if the footpath was extended it would be ideal instead of having to walk on the main road or cut through fields
Samantha

Belinda

We had a lovely couple of days at the Barbondale, a lovely big hot tub with beautiful views was an added bonus after a days walking up Ingleton Falls. It is an ideal location for visiting the many great places around the area. Thank you
My partner and I stayed for a long weekend with the dog and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cabin was lovely and just as described, perfect to come back to after a long day walking. Nice quiet location near a small town with lots of pubs
Fantastic set up. .. really well run. Had a brilliant time, enjoyed the peace and quiet. There's so much to do and see in the area..we loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you !!
Nicola
Perfect stay for our first little get away with our pooch.
Sandra
We had an absolutely fantastic few days away. However, I would like to advise that there isnt a pub within walking distance from the site. If the one you advertise as being close is the Whoop Hall, this is closed and the chap who looks like he is caretaking the property wasnt at all friendly when we walked there and asked if it was open. He told us in no uncertain terms that it was NOT!!! Could I suggest a dustpan and brush be put in each chalet? And maybe a larger towel or advise people to bring a robe or large towel. The small heated radiator in the bathroom was fantastic for drying smaller items but not towels. Overall though we had a throughly wonderful time, thank you x
