Anne
We really enjoyed our stay . All the family , aged 11 to 80 , found plenty to do . A good location .
Ian
The Rusty Barn gave us a wonderful renunion family holiday. Adults and children loved it (3,5 and 11 year olds). The football table and Hot tub were a great hit. The table tennis table was usable but the equipment needs updating. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for 9 - 10. There is ample space both in the living accommodation and within Read morethe plot for everyone including the dog (secure fencing and grass area). Noisy neighbours (not respecting signs) dealt with by the owners. Hide

The location of his property is fantastic! We had 4 children under 6 in our party and there were endless things to do within 30 mins of the property! The beds and sofa were comfy, the dining table was perfect for our party of 10, and the outside space was lovely. We had such a great time relaxing. What a wonderful quirky place to stay. The lights in their various forms are amazing especially the chassis hanging in the outside area ! Bedrooms are a good size and well equipped. Huge kitchen with seating for ten. So many things to do - watch the sheep watching you (the dog), the hot tub and sauna and table football (the younger generation) and Read morerelax watching all of the above being busy:(older generation!). There is plenty to do within easy driving distance - castles, trains, river, city. Hide

Rusty Barns is a wonderful property for family gatherings. Good sized bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, Although part of a larger site we never felt our privacy compromised. Hot tub, sauna, table tennis, fire pit all added to the fun and owners readily available if needed.

Anne
Lovely setting with ample space for 10 plus dogs! Lovely quirky old bits of machinery incorporated into the rooms. We all loved the hot tub and sauna and then snuggling round the firepit with hot mulled wine with the car suspended over us! Great family get-together.
Nicola
We loved The Rusty Barn, brilliant set up for our group of 10 to be together. Can all eat together, then relax together. The hot-tub and sauna made it first class. Bedrooms were a great size, and surrounding outdoor space was great for our dog to wander but be secure. The special extra touches for Christmas, again made it 5 stars. One of the best holiday rentals we have stayed at in over 50 years of self catering holidays in the UK and abroad. The owners were great and the house had everything you could want. We were a 3 generation group aged 7 to 71 with a dog and it was perfect. Loads to do in the area, which was vital given the bad weather throughout the week. Would highl y recommend.
Lesley
Great place for our gathering to celebrate various anniversaries. Spacious living and dining area with good equipment. Most comfortable cottage beds the party could remember. Great, imaginative, all weather outdoor area - allowing everyone the togetherness and space they needed while still being part of the party. Sufficient footpaths around to enj oy gentle strolls, with local pub as a watering hole. Local garden centre filled a morning including breakfast and a take away cream tea (pre-booked).
Tina
Absolutely loved this place. So unusual and brilliant space for everyone, the babies were completely entertained by the sheep and the hot tub entertained the adults, fun had by all. Would highly recommend
Anthony
Nice property with good outdoor facilities. easy to get to along the A40, but far enough away from the road to avoid traffic noise
Marcelle
Highly recommend for a group getaway. We loved the hot tub and sauna and the overall space . Location is great to get out and about .

This was our second visit to Rusty Barn. We love the property layout and location and think it is really well equipped with really great quirky features. Beds and pillows are comfy and the barn is nice and warm. Great dog walks nearby too. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
Gina
There was a great wow factor on arrival. We all loved the fun element, hot tub, sauna, football game etc. The space & bespoke decor was a hit for all ages in our family group. We enjoyed visiting Leaf Creative & walking through Beechenhurst sculpture trails & Saul Junction Marina. The welcome gifts were much appreciated, thank you.
Helen
We enjoyed our stay at The Rusty Barn and the facilities were excellent.
Peter
Barn is in a great position with easy access to many places for days out and walking. We had excellent meals in local pubs and garden centre opposite did a good breakfast. Property was well laid out and large enough for out 3 generations to holiday together. However we felt that the house did not meet our expectations and we had a number of niggles , including the level of cleanliness. Also The refurbishment works being carried out impacted on our privacy and enjoyment of the peace and quiet,
Marilyn
Clean and relatively comfortable. Our bed was fine
Rich
Great holiday for group of friends. Good amenities in the barn. Didnt use the Sauna as we were there on the week of the melt down in July but did make use of the outside area a lot. Loved the room with the balcony - the bath was a big help on the hot days.
Louise
The property itself is great for a big family gathering. Some great quirky features. Helpful owners who resolves a few issues we had quickly. Its also confusing because there is a field full of sheep out the kitchen window and lovely country views and walks all around, but it is also situated on working farm land and the owners are still developing neighbouring properties. Saying that, we all enjoyed ourselves and I would stay again.
Mark
Amazing property we and a great time, 10 of us plus one dog, celebrating a special birthday. Lots of room and great walks on the door step.
Linda
Brilliant house to celebrate my 70 th with family as sometimes for everyone
Antonia
Lovely property. We enjoyed staying here over New Year. The hot tub was ideal and the location of the property was ideal for going on days out. We visited the cattle farm for anyone who goes with children it was great and only 35 mins from house. House was out the way from main road and was secure. Would recommend staying here
Elizabeth
We stayed at the barn over Christmas. We were thrilled with the house, hot tub, kitchen equipment, bedrooms, outside space and location. We will definitely return one day.
Tina
A perfect space for family and friends to come together and celebrate or just relax. The location was easy to find and the amenities were well suited and thoroughly clean. Would recommend to anyone!
Viv
Fabulous property for 60th birthday celebrations. Great location close to Forest of Dean and Gloucester. Quality furnishings, bed linen and towels. Plenty of crockery , glassware etc. warm cosy and welcoming. Would recommend
Rachel
Absolutely loved our stay at Rusty Barn, such attention to detail has gone into the conservation and renovation of this place and includes really quirky features. Woodland walks on your doorstep, hot tub and sauna for relaxation, large fire pit that doubles as a bbq. We couldnt ask for any more and will definitely visit again.
Suzanne
Great location with easy access in all directions. Property has something for everyone - hot tub and sauna were great and we used the outside table tennis and games tables. Large kitchen which was well equipped and nice big fridge & freezer with ice and cool water. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms well planned with big showers. Plenty of vil lage pubs offering food and opposite Leaf Creative which did a great breakfast.
Eleanor
Had a lovely stay and would definitely go back. No issues or problems at all and the barn was amazing!!!
