Settled on The Pastures, an esteemed lodge park, on the outskirts of the charming village of Allithwaite and just a mile from the picturesque village of Cartmel, Watch Tree Lodge boasts luxury features including a hot tub, en-suite shower rooms and a bespoke fitted kitchen, accommodating two couples in two plush bedrooms.

Make your way inside your beautiful new home, passing through the well-presented utility area that houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, before entering the open-plan living space. Enjoy making your favourite dishes within the exquisite, fully-equipped kitchen with neutral, dark units and fresh timber worktops, home to quality appliances including a gas hob and electric oven, along with two fridges, both with their own iceboxes.

Serve up evening meals at the dining table, positioned before a large window to illuminate the space and lit from above by quirky feature lighting, where you can share the best moments of the day over a glass of wine or two. Make yourself comfortable on one of the two sumptuous, grey sofas facing the Smart TV, so you can browse your favourite streaming services and choose the latest release as day rolls into night.

Step into the en-suite shower room to find a fully-tiled and sleek washing space, with a rainfall showerhead for added luxury, underfloor heating, and a de-misting mirror.

Each bedroom enjoys its own access out onto the rear decking where you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, unwinding on the outdoor seating here with a drink afterwards, or make use of the front decking which boasts furniture for alfresco dining, perfect in the summer! This beautiful area is perched on the outskirts of the quaint village of Allithwaite, home to a local shop and a pub, while the village of Cartmel is just a short drive north, considered by many to be the prettiest village in the Lake District; it is home to charming, cobbled streets, traditional pubs, and antique shops.

Everything about this property was fantastic. It felt like home rather than holiday accommodation and the decor was stunning. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect temperature to relax in after a long walk.

What an amazing lodge and hot tub! The owners had thought of everything, the quality of fixtures and furnishings was excellent. Despite the weather, we had a week of pure relaxation, warmth and comfort! A welcome tray with biscuits, tea, coffee and milk was appreciated. Many thanks to Steve and Jayne for their personal touch, especially the birthday card and gift. Highly recommended!

First class facilities, all well maintained and very clean. We have booked again for later in the year, and fully intend to be back at Watch Tree Lodge in 2024 Jack & Jo
We are a family of four children aged 7 & 5 and had a fabulous stay at this lodge. It was spotlessly clean, so much so we felt like the first people to stay there. Loved the hot tub and all the extra touches that made it feel really comfortable, especially the smart tvs and underfloor heating! The location was also great, lots to do nearby. We loved the Haverthwaite steam train where you could catch a boat to the other villages such as Bowness and Ambleside. Wouldnt hesitate to book this lodge again in the future.
Four nights away for my husbands birthday what a place I chose. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful lodge we knew we would be returning. The open plan lounge is just beautiful the bedrooms spacious and tasteful with ensuite bathrooms to die for. The hot tub whats not to like and totally private. The site is in a lovely spot with countryside all around. Steve and Jayne are the perfect hosts they have thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Thank you
To be totally honest without a doubt the best self catering property we have ever stayed inWeve done a few! .. The Lodge has been set up perfectly with so much thought & consideration for its guests & the quality of the fixtures & fittings is outstanding.. Really cant think what the owners could do differently to make the experience any better, we cannot recommend Watch Tree Lodge enough and we will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you for a wonderful holiday Russ, Esther & Francesca
Absolutely beautiful lodge. Has everything you could ask for . Spotlessly clean. Lovely owners very friendly and accommodating been twice already and will definitely be going back very soon.
Absolutely stunning cottage for the perfect getaway. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful both modern and cosy and is furnished to an extremely high standard. It had absolutely everything we needed from kitchen utensils to blankets to laundry facilities! The hosts were extremely helpful if we ever needed them and they were also really knowledgeable about the surrounding area which was great for us being first timers to The Lake District. The hot tub is located on the rear of the property along with some chairs it was very private from surrounding properties. The surrounding area is also great to visit lots of great walks, pubs, and villages to wander around. The photos don't do it justice of how lovely it truly is. We will absolutely be back thank you for a wonderful weekend.
It is an absolutely lovely lodge, everything was immaculate and we'll thought out. We especially appreciated the fact that it is surrounded by so many trees making it feel very private as you can't immediately see all the other lodges.
