Walkers can enjoy splendid coastal walks around the Cartmel Peninsula (3.5 miles), Humphrey Head (2 miles) and many more. Other great places to visit are Bowness On Windermere (16 miles), Hawkshead (18 miles), Coniston (19 miles), or Ulverston (13 miles).

The kitchen/diner is the main focal point of the house and has an abundance of space where you will spend most of your time. Here, you can create a family feast and enjoy it at the dining table.

On the first floor, there are two king size bedrooms and two double bedrooms and a main bathroom with a bath, a separate shower, and a WC. At the front of the property is an enclosed garden area and at the rear, there s a patio area with seating and a charcoal BBQ.
This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
