Robins Nest Reviews

Lovely quiet location. Robin's Nest is a home from home very well equipped with a quality fit out. The shower is really roomy and the bed is comfy. Nice private courtyard and good local walks for the dog. The goodie basket and dog treats were much appreciated. The hot tub took a long time to heat and it does require regular attention to top up the logs. However it was January and the weather was cold. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
Rebecca
Brilliant stay, decor was stunning, nice and clean and tidy.
Duncan
Very nicely fitted out and finished a fantastic place for a chilled time away and an excellent base to use to visit the area. Nice and quiet area and the hampers for us and our dog where a really nice touch and a great welcome when we walked in the door.

What a wonderful 5 days me and my husband have had at the Robins Nest! The host Joanne and her husband have been very attentive and accommodating only a phone call away if we needed them. The cottage is beautifully presented with all the amenities you could need. Very cosy and welcoming with a lovely hamper of goodies that we enjoyed. We definitely will be recommending to friends and family and will be visiting again soon.
Perfect little getaway. Robins nest was in a lovely location and made us feel like we were a million miles away from civilisation while still being close enough to explore local areas. Nice and private with lovely welcome hamper. Log fire and wood burning hot tub were amazing and kept us nice and toasty. Would definitely stay again but for longer next time.
A lovely location just outside York so visiting the city was easy whilst still having a comfortable and relaxing spot to retreat to after the bustle of a day in the city. Very clean, tidy and well equipped site which we would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere in the area.
Darren
Excellent accommodation, like home from home. Quiet setting with lovely view. Enclosed area ideal for relaxing fornyou and your dog. Amenities close by, petrol stations amd supermarkets. 40 min drive to. Would highly recommended this accommodation.

Lovely cottage every thing we needed was there. Home from home lovely to come back to after a day out
Fabulous property in a great location, facilities were spot on and we will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Superb stay and will come again

Absolutely lovely cottage, really enjoyed our stay. Everything was so modern, clean and well maintained, and the welcome basket was full of unexpected goodies. The hot tub did take a long time to reach the right temperature. If you intend to use it on your day of arrival then you need to get started the minute you arrive. We did exactly that, filled it with water, lit the fire and tended to it regularly. By 10pm it was hot and we made use of it that night. The plus point was that it was still hot the whole next day, and still warm enough to use on day 3.
Louise
Beautiful little holiday home that has everything you need. Every detail has been considered and the welcome pack was delicious. It does take a long time and a lot of smaller logs to fill and heat the hot tub so you wont have opportunity to enjoy if you have all day activities planned. Lovely once hot though.
We cannot praise the owners and this property enough. The cottage is outstanding. Everything you need is there and the finish to the property is of the highest standard. We'd like to give a special thanks to Joanne and Steve, for helping make our stay a memorable one!! You are amazing hosts, thank you.
Andrew
Lovely little place, very clean and everything you need, welcome hamper was a very nice touch. Well worth a visit and stay, will be coming back again.
We had a fantastic stay, never felt so relaxed definitely a 5 star. The generous hamper, milk, dressing gown, slippers and all the little extras including the dog treats and blanket was such a lovely touch. The accommodation was very clean and the hot tub fantastic. We will definitely come back, thank you.
Lovely accommodation furnished to a high standard. Very clean and comfortable. Felt very welcome with the lovely goodies that were awaiting us on our arrival. Very secure fenced area which is a plus if you're taking a dog along on holiday with you.

Robin's nest is a real labour of love for Joanne and her husband. We had a relaxed and very comfortable 3 night stay in deepest darkest January, with a warm fire, the best equipped kitchen, a quality bed, and a hamper full of goodies to keep us going. The location is beautiful with plenty of walking, town visiting, and sea side wandering to be had.
Allison
This beautiful property is the perfect place for a relaxing break. The attention to detail is second to none. The bed was so comfortable. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. We will certainly be back
Lovely property. Excellent facilities, stylish and cosy. We would love to return and would definitely recommend Robin's Nest to others.
Lovely cottage, very clean and the hamper on our arrival was lovely. Had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful location and very relaxing. Lots in the local area to do and would recommend it.
Just perfect, stunning property, lovely and quiet. Everything was on site and truly loved staying here and will definitely return.

This is a beautiful property in a lovely rural setting. The property is super clean and extremely well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is an added bonus and though it takes a few hours to heat up it stays warm for a long time and is very relaxing. The welcome hamper was also very well received and appreciated. We will definitely be back!
Robins Nest, is stunningly beautiful, care has been taken with every detail. The owners have gone every mile to make you welcome and comfortable. The cleanliness was outstanding. I can not fault. It really was a home from home.
Fantastic property in a lovely location. Stayed 3 nights, just wish it could have been longer, will definitely visit again. Super hosts!
Lorraine
Highly delighted at our holiday let. The owners have gone to extreme trouble to think of giving clients a home from home with extras
Jessica
Wow what a gem! Beautiful decor, clean and homely. Attention to detail including the hamper and doggy treats! Beautiful views and peaceful! The list is endless. Only recommendations to have a fan available as it was very stuffy and hot tub to be filled ready as took several hours to be able to enjoy Will definitely return and be recommending to family and friends
We had a wonderful long weekend at Robin's Nest. Glorious weather, a brilliant little cottage, with all the things you need. Very comfortable and in a great location. We took the dog and he loved the walks over the fields close by. Good location for trips into York. Loved warming up the hot tub and having a very peaceful, relaxing weekend. Great hosts and a lovely welcome hamper topped off our fantastic break.
Absolutely beautiful place with everything we could need. Welcome hamper, robes & logs were a lovely touch & we enjoyed very much. The place is immaculate & has everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is a good base to explore the beautiful east coast & we enjoyed the walk with our GSD around Robin Hoods Bay to Boggles hole , Flamborough head where we saw seals on the beach & Filey. The town of Pocklington is a 5 minute drive & we did a lovely walk down Pocklington Canal. The log burning hot tub was lovely after a days walking.
Gorgeous cottage! The bed was ridiculously comfy. Everything was spotless. Perfect location. I couldnt recommend enough. Just make sure the first thing you do is fillheat the hot tub as it takes a while but dont let this put you off as I couldnt fault the place. Lovely place to stay.
Angela
This is the best equipped, cleanest and most comfortable holiday let we've ever stayed it. Allow yourself about 90 mins to fill the hot tub and 5 hours to heat it. No electric means no bubbles though which I hadn't realised until we got there but it was lovely to lay in it and listen to the owls hooting away in the darkness.
We had a lovely few days at Robins Nest. Everything about the property is perfect and would highly recommend to others. Clean, comfy, warm, great standard of facilities and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch.
Tracey
Robins Nest is a little bolthole in the country. We loved our stay in your little cottage. We were greeted to the most amazing welcome package and a basket full of logs for the log fire as well as having a beautiful Christmas tree sparkling in the corner. Kitchen was fully stocked of equipment, shower was amazing and the beds were so comfortable. Not far from the busy streets of York which we visited on Saturday but our favorite day was walking around Pocklington, we had lunch at the Wolds Cafe, absolutely delicious and found a gem of a shop called Dilly Dally which is full of treasures. We will most definitely return.
