What a fantastic place for a holiday to get away from it all. A truly wholesome place with wonderful owners on hand if you need them but also leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. The mill is wonderfully equipped and a comfortable base and the animals are all so much fun especially Maureen the Turkey! Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic place to unwind and escape from it all. Very well equipped, comfy accommodation with everything you need, and more. The welcome pack of wine, apple juice and freshly laid eggs from the on-site chickens was a lovely touch. Private garden and hot tub was a haven to loose yourself in, relish the peace, and forget the world! Owners (and the d ogs, Jazz and Poppy) were very welcoming, but left you to your own devices. Would definitely go again.

Great stay, lovely spot. better weather and we would have explored a bit more of the land but mud and dogs makes for a messy holiday home, so we played it safe. The cottage was ideal for a peaceful relaxing stay. Our hosts were brilliant and were readily available if required. We were made very welcome with bottles of Prosecco and sparkling drink and fudge on arrival and even the dogs had treats left for them. There was everything you needed to enjoy your stay. We spent several afternoons sunbathing on the river edge watching the kingfisher and egrets. Pauline and Michael recommended a couple of local pubs. The Half Moon at Sheepwash was very nice.
James
We spent a relaxing 2 weeks in the beautifully kept Kingsley Mill. Everything was perfect from the appliances that all work to the comfort of the beds and furniture to that Hot Tub, wow that Hot Tub. 3 of us in a tub that can hold 6 to 8 person, luxury especially at night star and satellite watching. Chickens, sheep, goats, horses, turkeys and two lovely dogs roaming freely about the place, lovely. Michael and Pauline were the perfect hosts and cannot thank you enough
Philip
The cottage was really nice and very comfortable. The kitchen was great with all pots, pans and utensils you will need and there were three tv's. The hot tub was very large and located in a secluded area with a barbecue too. The hosts, Pauline and Michael really couldn't do enough for us and we had some free range eggs from their chickens. There we re two pubs located within easy walking distance and the coast is a short drive. All you need to do is turn up and have a great time. Thank you.
Beverly
We enjoyed a very comfortable few days at Kingsley Mill. Pauline and Michael were great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was very comfortable with everything you could need for a self catering stay, and was immaculately clean. The hot tub was great too. Its a great place to stay if you have a dog, our spaniel enjoyed meeting the chic kens and the sheep ! Thank you both for a really restful holiday.
John
Lovely quiet, rural setting.
Wayne
The mill is very clean and looked after everything worked and the bed, sofa and feel was comfortable but I am sure if you have any issues they will do their upmost to sort it out.
Neil
This place is just fantastic. Its the perfect place to dissappear into a natural, quiet, calm environment. Surrounded by loads of small quirky little villages. It's like going back in time. But with all the mod cons of the future. The hot tub is absolutely superb with jets powerful enough to hurt if set to full blast. (They can be turned down thoug h) Just sitting in there with the internal lights on staring at the stars cannot be beaten. I can't imagine anyone leaving less than 5 stars here.
Rebecca
Kingsley Mill is an idyllic spot. Lots of animals about which the children loved. Cherry the goat was a favourite. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable with beautiful views and very peaceful. Hot tub and trampoline a bonus. Pauline and Michael were such friendly hosts. We will definitely go back.
Caron
Cottage is lovely and comfortable equipped with everything you could need and great hosts. There are lots of animals free roaming so tricky if your dogs arent used to them, like ours, which meant we always had to have them on a lead even for a quick wee. One of the 2 cockerels will have you awake bright and early, upside your get free eggs There ar e very limited walks within reach of the cottage so you will have to drive to the beach for off the lead walks - a minimum of a 30min drive.
Sara
Brilliant holiday. Beautiful location and setting. Property owners more than welcoming, our boys enjoyed collecting the eggs and feeding the various animals. Lovely walk along the river on the property with the ponies in tow. The dog also had the best time. We will be back.
Jane
We had a lovely relaxing week Michael and Pauline were very welcoming. The mill had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Lovely to see the animals, chickens etc left to roam freely, a true countryside experience. We hope to return again.
Kathryn
A lovely place to unwind and immerse yourself in nature, surrounded by beautiful, friendly animals from the farm, and with the added luxury of a wonderful hot tub! The cottage itself was pristine and so cosy, with very comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. Pauline and Michael were so helpful and accommodating too - the perfect hosts. W ell definitely be coming back!
Lisa
Fabulous retreat.
Anthony
Excellent short break at Kingsley Mill Cottage . The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts Pauline & Michael were very welcoming and helpful and happy to assist with any requirements you may have (thanks for the fresh free range eggs for breakfast). The location is surrounded by stunning North Devon countryside and we would definiteley recommend staying here.
Laraine
Well equipped, warm and cozy in rural surroundings. Goats, chickens and ducks roam freely (mind the droppings)! Ideal dog walks from house but fast flowing river runs very close so not suitable for young children. Friendly owners. Good pubs nearby
Catherine
We stayed in December and the cottage was charming, clean, well-equipped, warm and comfortable. The hot tub was a family favourite. Games, books and welcome treats provided, everything very thoughtful. The animals gave their own charm to the delightful location. Thank you to Pauline and Michael.
