Manderine Lodge Reviews

Maxine
Lovely lodge. Clean and comfortable . Hot tub could do with being undercover. Great place. Great location for the coast. Will be returning.
Lovely stay everything that you need is available would definitely recommend to friend, the park is very quiet just what we wanted .
Michael
Lovely relaxing stay with a nice bottle of wine and large bag of crisps to welcome us. Clean and comfortable. Hot tub could do with a clip on drinks holder to level the side up if at all possible,
Lucinda
Absolutely beautiful stay, we came back for a second time because we loved it so much and we will definitely come again. A lovely homely lodge, lots of thought and attention to make it comfortable and dog friendly which is a must for us. Our only feedback was that the hot tub had a bit of scumy dirt around the water level and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned. The TV signal was really poor, as was the wifi. I think if the TV signal and possibly the wifi could be sorted out it would be a great improvement. Thank you for a wonderful stay, would thoroughly recommend staying here. Bests Lucie and Bernie
Beautiful, comfortable property that felt spacious for us, 2adults, 2 kids and a dog! Great location. Loved our stay and hope to return in the future
Louise
Lovely well equipped and clean accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed and more. Lovely little touches like the wine, crisps, dog food and a kitchen with essentials!! Hot tub brilliant! Close enough for days out but in a lovely location, so the best of both worlds. Would definitely return x
We had a great stay, the only down side was a very muddy walk to the Bari Bar and back. It could be improved by putting a path instead of the muddy road.
Elaine
The lodge was clean and all essentials provided. However, the carpet in the sitting area was very badly stained and the settee was well worn and not at all comfortable to sit in for any length of time. The tap was loose on the handbasin of the ensuite shower room and the shower hose kept coming off the shower head when in use. The shower in the main bathroom was not good either. The kitchen and dining area were good with plenty of space for cooking and dining and we made good use of the veranda, although that could have done with a really good clean as it was really quite dirty, espescially when compared to our neighbouring lodges. All in all, we enjoyed our stay as the park is set in lovely woodland and a good location for visiting local attractions, however not in Manderine Lodge as it is really looking a bit tired.
Sharon
We had a fantastic time at this lodge from start to finish. It was a very good price, good size, homely and would recommend this accommodation. I will definately be booking again in the near future.
Hannah
The property was good value for money. Kitchen and livingroom facilities were great. Although, a little dated and a bit grubby in places mould in bathroom, wonky tap and stains on the carpet. The hot tub was a good size and was in a nice location underneath the trees. However, this meant there were constant insects, leaves etc. It really needs a net, as there was always scum on the sides which made it quite off putting getting in. I wouldn't come back for this reason.
Alisha
Filled with everything you could need for your stay, great location and very quiet
Bernard
Pros A beautiful lodge in a beautiful location. The lodge comes fully equipped with all you need to have an amazing holiday. The hot tub is great and easy to use for novices like myself. WiFi works well. Kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of walks for the dog right on your doorstep. If you want to venture out it's not far to plenty of beautiful beaches, castles and various other attractions. We had a fantastic holiday and will no doubt return in the future. Cons None Things that need attention The over bath shower is not very powerful. The extractor in the bathroom is very noisy, needs replacing. TV could do with an update. Thanks for a great holiday.
Thomas
Extracter not working in shower room, the extracter in the bathroom was so noisy couldnt put the light on in the night , as it woke everybody up.
Lovely place to stay. Hot tub fab. Every detail thought of including fully equipped kitchen. Well located to visit beauty spots, beach, etc.

Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.

Go Ape Northumberland - NE48 1NT
about 21 Miles
Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK.  The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall.  Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops.  Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines.  You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
