Miners Reviews

Kamil
Very nice and big house. Lot of space for children.
Nabeel
Amazing place and spacious and in a decent location. Very high standard place with loads of space
Yvonne
Beautiful property in stunning location, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Friendly owner/caretaker (thank you Dave for coming to the rescue when items were accidently left behind!). We were a 3 generation party with dogs and the property catered well for this. Kids & dogs quickly mastered the spiralRead more staircase even if it made us slightly nervous! Hot tub was a welcome addition, especially when we overlooked the lack of a garden. Thank you!! Hide
Paul
This was a wonderful holiday property with wonderful views. The hot tub was very welcome for all three generations who stayed for the week. Our only difficulty was transporting our 2 small dogs up and down the spiral staircase for their toilet breaks. If however we had taken this holiday free of our pets, then it would have been even better.
Kerry
I cannot say enough nice things about this property. It was large, spacious and really well equipped. I'm always a little anxious about booking dog friendly cottages, we've stayed in ones before which haven't smelled great but this property was immaculately clean and odour free! The towels provided for the hot tub as well as bath/shower was a nice touch. We had a fantastic stay.
Joseph
Great house. Wasn't sure whether to give location four or five stars - fifth star would have been for closer to the beach I guess, but this is reflected in the price and overall it's great value.
Priscilla
Great place to stay with your family, really amazing place. Property is modern and very neat , you have all the items you need if your are making your own meal. Very comfortable place to stay.
Simon

Diane
The house is absolutely lovely and very spacious. Great for getting to St Ives, Eden Project, Portreath as well as many other places. You will have to get in the car to be able to appreciate the coastline though (the pic of the view of the sea in the gallery isn't a view from the house). Very well equipped with pretty much everything you need. If t he weather isn't great there's a large selection of dvds, some games and books too. Really enjoyed our visit.
Lynn
The house was fabulous- well equipped and very clean. The living area on the top floor accessed by a spiral stair was a little tricky the older members of the family but once up there the views are super and its a great open plan space .
Jackie
Everyone had a fabulous time and really enjoyed staying at the house.
Jackie
Super property for a large group with plenty of indoor space
Hannah

Phill
Stayed for a 70th birthday celebration which ages ranging from 9 months to 70! It's a fantastic house that's really well maintained and equipped. Owner was really helpful ahead of the stay with useful information. There were bath and pool towels available with a washer and dryer too which made things easy with little ones. There was a good supply o f essential items such as toilet rolls and hand soap which made life easier on arrival. We really enjoyed our weekend and would recommend this house.
Louise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Miners. Our holiday was relaxing, comfortable and centrally located for travelling to beaches and towns. We visited the cinema in Truro and enjoyed a walk around the town. There are lots of safe walking tracks in the village. All local beaches were open to dogs as we went in October. Would definitely recommend.
Amy
Lovely house with everything you could possibly need and more. Had a very comfortable stay at Miners, located well to explore all Cornwall has to offer. The top floor is something pretty special with far reaching views for stunning sun rises and sets. This house really has the wow factor! The hot tub is a lovely start or finish to your day. As reco mmended by the owners The Unicorn On The Beach is a must visit restaurant located on a stunning beach. Thank you for letting us stay!
Alice
Miners is a beautiful home, we had a lovely stay. Very quirky with the upside down living but unfortunately it didnt work for us with 2 small children (under 3). All floors are hard and not very child friendly. Family room is on the bottom floor so quite a way from the main living area. But the house has everything you need and is a short drive fro m beaches and major towns.
