Sustainably built which benefits from an unbeatable location close to the breath-taking Cornish coast, a contemporary and stylish, open-plan interior, three sumptuous bedrooms and a fully enclosed and private garden with hot tub; the perfect setting for families or friends seeking a sustainable retreat in Carbis Bay. After a day by the sea, cross the threshold into your new home-from-home to find an open-plan living space where you can unwind on the plush sofas in front of the 75" Smart TV and watch on as the designated chef of the group cooks up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen.

When stars appear overhead, travel back inside to freshen up in the sleek wet room ahead of catching your rest in one of three bedrooms; choose from a four-poster king-size with Smart TV and en-suite shower room, a king-size (zip/link) with Smart TV or a double. During the day explore the centre of Carbis Bay where you can pick up your essentials at local stores, enjoy a meal out at The Cornish Arms or experience the beauty of the coast with a trip to the breath-taking Carbis Bay Beach.

Moorside Reviews

Joanne
Gorgeous property and great location for a family beach holiday. Lovely welcome hamper! Huge thanks for a great stay.
The holiday property was clean and very comfortable. Beds excellent, bed linen and towels were very good quality. Hot tub and beach house a real bonus. Well equipped kitchen however, a few more dinner plates would be helpful as there were only seven. If they were used at breakfast andor lunch, there were not enough for dinner in the evening. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of hot water. Coming back from the beach with two toddlers, we needed to give them a hot shower. Hot water was not plentiful, the tank was small and set to only heat up twice a day. I contacted Sykes on the Sunday and was given some very helpful advice from Conor. He told me that this issue had been mentioned before in previous feedback. The owners were contacted and we were told how to boost the hot water. This rectified the problem to a certain extent. The floor of the wet room became very slippery after use. My daughter is 10 months pregnant and I have just had a total hip replacement the floor was far too slippery for us to navigate. Using the other toilet in the en suite bedroom is an option during the day but not once people had gone to bed. A rigid squeeji mop would help to move the water to the drain. Alternatively, a rubber mat would have helped. My grand daughter, who is only two, slipped and had a nasty bang in her head. A long handled broom dustpan and brush would also be helpful. In summary, we had a really lovely holiday. Would certainly use Sykes company again.
A great find! Lovely, well furnished property perfect for what we wanted. Hot tub is a fab addition. Garden is perfect for little ones to potter round in. We booked a travel for and high chair, both of which were ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Lovely touch of a welcome basket too. Did contact owners regarding one issue which was very quickly rectified. Walkable to Carbis Bay beach and a lovely restaurant the Gannett. 5 min drive to St. Ives. Great spot and would definitely look to stay again if in Cornwall. Thanks so much!

Had a lovely stay at Moorside. The house is in a great location for Carbis Bay and St Ives. The renovation has been done to a really high standard with all the modern touches to make it really comfortable and homely. Little touches like a welcome hamper with fresh coffee and Cornish tea were a welcome surprise after a long journey too along with the hot tub with convenient beach house right next to it. The only point for improvement would be that the water tank is quite small so is a little difficult for a group of 5 or 6 to all shower in the evening or morning. But the owner was really helpful over text message explaining how to manually turn it on. Would definitely recommend in the future. X
I would not hesitate to book Moorside again. It is spacious, modern and very comfortable. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard and everything has been vey well thought out. We enjoyed the secure and private garden space which is perfect for relaxing and socialising.
