Not our first day but excellent as ever. Upgrades have been made to the nearby track which are appreciated
Joanne
Lovely bungalow with everything you need in a great setting and location on the island. We had a comfortable relaxing stay and the hot tub was perfect. Great fenced in decking area at the front which goes round to the hot tub and plenty of outside furniture. Appreciated the welcome pack and will look forward to returning in the future.
Louise
The bungalow was a home from home. The photos could do with updating as the decking is completed all the way round to the hot tub along with fencing which was a great bonus at letting the dog out knowing she was safe while we enjoyed the hot tub. The treats that were left were a lovely welcome, thanks. Also the comfiest sofa ever!
Lovely bungalow in central spot on island. Some parts or the bungalow are a bit dated and we were not happy that there was no gate to close on the drive especially because we have dogs. The bungalow was clean and there was a good supply of crockery and glasses. Lovely touch with all the treats which were very much appreciated.
Carrie
What a fantastic stay! The cottage has everything we needed and more! It was comfortable and cosy and the outside area was perfect for us, the hot tub was gorgeous and the absolutely loved it in the evenings. Id highly recommend this as s family holiday cottage.
We had an amazing stay, the owners went above and beyond to help us settle in. There were plenty of snacks awaiting us after a long drive. There is plenty of parking and I was pleased to see the road up to the property is now fixed and made wider. The hot tub is a wonderful addition, even more so now that the decking is complete and covered. We fully enjoyed our stay and we've already booked our next stays at Petlyns Patch.
Lovely property with everything needed for a family break away. Owners provided towels, toiletries, cooking and cleaning products, and several extras which was a very nice touch. Large garden area, big hot tub and plenty of sitting areas and roofed decking, all located in quiet peaceful surroundings. Several large supermarkets 10mins drive away and a local shop and pub 2 min walk. Will be looking to stay again in the future
Andrew
Easily found, easy road up to the property, no potholes. The property has absolutely everything you could wish for, from a fire pit to a hot tub! It's nicely set away, there are no properties overlooking you. There are a fair amount of outside seats to chose from. Smart TV,, if you have Amazon or Netflix you can login to your account. There are even an array of childrens toys in a cupboard! Owners leave an abundance of snacks for the guests. It just feels like home, the hot tub with the lights on the decking are a really nice touch, if anyone is going to this part of the world, look no further, you have found where to stay. Hopefully one day we will return
Richard
Lovely peaceful holiday dogs loved it
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Petlyns Patch. It was so homely and comfortable, and the decked area at the front of the property was such a lovely place to sit at anytime of the day. Located in a quiet and peaceful place, but not far from main roads to get you to any part of the island. Our two Frenchies loved the garden to play in. We will definitely be staying there again.
Joanna
Lovely place to stay with our dogs . .very peaceful and everything you need for a pleasant stay ..Lovely owners came round as we couldn't work the television box correctly..They were lovely and informative of the area ..would definitely recommend and would book again in the future .Thankyou
This was our first holiday let and we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was there to enjoy straight away. Outside weather was very cold, inside cottage very warm. Thank you.
Chesney
We had an excellent stay over new years and would recommend it. Weather was poor but it is in a great location and were able to see the island regardless. House had everything we needed and much more. Owners went above and beyond. Hot tub was a bonus even in the rain and looking forward to revisiting to see the decking area finished.
Ronnie
This is our second stay at Petlyn's and I was so glad to see they've now fully repaired the track road with smooth paving. Everything else in Petlyn's was the same high quality and would not hesitate to book a third time.
What a wonderful little cottage it was Brilliant , warm ,cosy and the wine and welcome pack was nice a shop close by where you can buy the Basics like bread and milk loved our stay we will be returning next year THANK YOU. .
In general the small bungalow was ok, though 5 would be a squash. The corridors and kitchen are so narrow. The bathroom needs upgrading and cleaned more thoroughly, but all in all it was fairly clean, though radiators and kettle and a few other things had stains and dust on them, which didn't fill me with confidence the beds were ok, so glad I'd taken my own pillow. None of that compared to the 'track' to reach the property. It was basically a stream, with all the potholes, ruts, grooves and debilitated tarmac that would have destroyed my car's exhaust and wheel bearings. I had to park on the main road and walk everything up to the bungalow 5 trips with an adult with special needs and a dog in extreme heat was NOT a good start to our break. This really needs mentioning and I am appalled it was not made clear. Saying the track was 'tight' does not mention if you value your car, please don't try this. Once in and sorted, the decking was pleasant to sit. We hadn't experienced a hot tub. Chlorine kept getting in my eyes, so turned off bubbles and much better, but still, a hot bath outside...? We enjoyed the many 'treats' left for us, my daughter especially enjoyed the chocolate.
Jennifer
Good location, very well equipped kitchen and hot tub was a nice extra.
Had a lovely time this week. Would happily book to come back. Just what we all needed!!
It was a lovely place, very spacious indoors and outdoors. Peaceful location with easy access to days out. Everything was catered for such as iron, airer etc and other household sundries. Lovely welcome package from our hosts. Would definately return there again
Ronnie
Petlyn's patch had everything we needed and the hosts went above an beyond to meet our expectations.
This was a very last minute booking, on the day. Hosts were very friendly when we first went to look at the property because they were there getting it ready for us. Very comfortable, quiet and well kitted out property and the hot tub was a welcome bonus. Good location in the middle of Anglesey meaning it was easy to get around the island.
Jonathan
The photos advertising this cottage dont do it justice, this cottage was amazing inside and out.
Danielle
Brilliant homefromhome. We stayed with four adults and a ten year told, and there was above and beyond space for everyone. Each bedroom had everything you would need. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked should we have needed anything. And the hosts were fantastic at communicating when we had questions. We will stay again! Thank you.
We had a great 4 night stay, truly a home from home. a little table top freezer would be great though. The hot tub was a real treat as was the garden and location. Owners are friendly &really helpful on local information & if needed during your holiday....we'll definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you..Ann, Bryn & Pheobe our little dog
