Emma
Honestly, we had a fantastic stay from start to finish. The views were absolutely breathtakingand the owner was super friendly and helpful. The info folder he gave us was really useful too. The place itself was spotless, well-equippedand had a high standard of comfort. We enjoyed a relaxing week and would definitely return. My only tiny gripe is that I find the mattress a bit firm due to my fibromyalgia, but a bit of padding sorted it right out-didn’t spoil our holiday at all!
Emma
We’ve stayed here twice now and each time, Steve makes us feel really welcome. The pod is perfect for a chilled-out stay - nice and private, with a comfortable, firm bed that we appreciated. The fire was a real bonus when the weather got chilly. It’s ideally situated for exploring Dartmoorand the facilities are simple but just right. Sure, there’s some road noise from the A38, but inside the pod, it’s barely noticeable. We love coming here to unwind and relax, it’s just what we needed!

We loved the location, perched right on the edge of the moors - perfect for days out exploring or relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. It’s also close enough to the beach and charming towns like Totnes and Brixham, which was handy. The area is full of fantastic country pubs, many welcoming to dogs, which was a big plus. The hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, with great communication throughout. Thanks a lot for everything - we’ll definitely return!

The Pod was surprisingly spacious and super cosy, perfect for relaxing. The host was really friendly and made us feel at home. The hot tub was just what we needed, especially with the rain coming down on the Moor. A real gem, especially with our dog along!

We had a lovely stay thanks to Mr and Mrs Haskell, who made us feel right at home. The pod was beautifully thought out, super cosy and warm, with no detail overlooked. The feather duvet and pillows were a real treatand the extra dressing gowns and towels for the hot tub were much appreciated. It honestly felt like a luxury hotel experience, just more relaxed. Highly recommended!

The log burner was a real highlight - so warm and inviting - and the hot tub was perfect for star gazing, definitely a highlight for us. When it rained, the fire made it super cosy. The private deck and hot tub are a real bonus. It’s spacious enough for longer stays tooand the owner is really friendly. Definitely a place we’d come back to for a weekend or more!

Jamie
We really enjoyed our stay at The Pod! The owners clearly put a lot of thought into making it special. The location was ideal for exploring the moorsand unwinding in the hot tub afterwards was just what we needed. Definitely coming back!
Emma J.
We spent a week here and honestly, it was just what we needed. The hot tub was a highlight-used it daily, sometimes twice! The weather was pretty rainy, but it didn’t matter. We loved relaxing and being together. Definitely planning to return soon, it’s a lovely spot to unwind!
Emily Carter
We loved the cosy pod, with stunning views of the rolling hills right from the bed. It’s tucked away on the owner’s land but feels totally secluded thanks to the screening. Parking was easy and close by, which was handy. The hot tub was a real treat-spotlessly clean and stayed hot. The place is spacious and well-equipped, but we did miss proper wine glasses; plastic ones just don’t cut it for good wine. Despite the wild weather, we had a lovely weekend. Would definitely return!
