We had a fantastic stay at The Stables for February half term 2023. The house is amazing and finished to such a high standard! The hot tub is luxurious, the patio area extremely spacious and dog friendly, a large enclosed field to walk the dog in and the games room was extremely popular, especially the children. Steve was really friendly and helpfu l and the location was ideal for exploring Cornwall, within convenient travelling distances to north and south coasts. Can't wait to return!!!!!

A beautiful barn conversion which is very spacious and well equipped. We had a very comfortable stay. The hot tub and games room were a great hit. Good location for exploring south Cornwall. One of the best properties we have stayed at and would definitely recommend.

BEAUTIFUL property. Room sizes are fabulous! We loved the decor and design. Stair Gates were in place - which were essential for me with a Toddler. Much appreciated. Just wow! We booked to stay at the stables at short notice, yet everything was prepared perfectly for our arrival. The house was outstanding. The cleanliness was 10/10, comfort 10/10, location 10/10. Steve was always available for anything we needed. The house was perfect for our family break. The Stables is located in private grounds with acres of land to explore - great for dogs. This cottage was superb,when we arrived we had a lovely welcome and everything we required for our stay.the cotrage was of high spec,lovely and clean and so comfortable.the kids and my parents absolutley adored it as did i.great location and lots to be visited..kids loved the hot tub abd games room..We will all be definately coming back.thankyou to nsteve french and his wife. The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Newquay Zoo - TR7 2NN

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
