Fantastic all round. Very friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful setting, packed a lot into a tiny space.

A stunning hut in a beautiful location well equipped with everything youd need for your stay. And property owners who cannot do enough for you. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.

The cabin was fabulous decked out with underfloor heating, electricity, WiFi, a comfy bed and of course the hot tub. Made for a great cozy winter stay. Owners were absolutely brilliant aswell, made us feel really welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our little trip away.

Lovely cosy hut with lots of land for our dog to roam around. Really comfortable bed and extremely clean. There was a new hot tub with an additional 15 cost for logs to heat which we thoroughly enjoyed using. One of our favourite holidays, would highly recommend.

This short trip was faultless throughout, we are only sad that we had to leave but we are already looking ahead to when we can book next, only for longer next time! We couldnt find anything to moan about even if we tried, the hut is stylish and very comfortable, the land is beautiful and peaceful, the fishing was brilliant and the fish were immaculate! and the owners are lovely people! From the very friendly hello to the goodbye we felt very welcome and looked after. The whole family felt like good friends. Our 3 little dogs had the time of their lives too running around the fields and watching the horses and sheep! The owners have been so thoughtful when creating this little gem, the kitchen had everything we could have needed to use, it was stocked with everything from washing up liquid to poo bags. We cant wait to go back and we have lovely memory's of our first trip to the oak hut! Thankyou!!

Stayed 4 nights, bed supa comfy, our dog molly loved the horses and the 4 lovely labs. Fishing great. Lovely family nothing too much trouble. Would definately reccomend if you love the laid back life. Thanks for our lovely stay. Will definately be back.

Had a fantastic stay here at the Oak Hut. Myself, partner, a dog stayed for three nights beautiful property with a lovely welcoming family. Paul was great and nothing was too much trouble. Our little dog had the best time massive fenced lawn for her to run around and play. We loved the horses, sheep, and four Labradors that greeted us throughout the day. Cabin was very modern, bed extremely comfortable, and had all the modcons. Property also had a lake which you could sit by during the sunset. Shops about a ten minute drive, with a lovely pub just down the road. If you want a break from the madness of life, book here. Literally no complaints. Weve never felt so peaceful well definitely be back!

We had a great 3 night break at the Oak Hut, very relaxing and very well looked after by the hosts Paul and Jan. The hut is lovely and cosy and furnished very well. The lake is full of fish! So we had a lot of fun catching every day. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Described on their own website as a "fairytale adventure" there is a nursery rhyme and fairytale characters theme running throughout the park. One inside the park you can enjoy unlimited free rides and there's an indoor soft play area for the younger ones and for when the weather is not on your side. Llangollen Boat Trips - LL20 8TA

Llangollen Wharf is one of the major attractions in North Wales and is an excellent place to spend the day as a family. The Wharf is situated in the peaceful market town of Llangollen - now part of a World Heritage Site. Horse Drawn Boat Trips are available along the feeder for the main canal and are a unique way to explore the area. Motorised Aqueduct Cruises are also on offer for those who prefer a slightly faster pace. Both trips allow visitors to take in all the magnificent sites of Llangollen Canal.

Go Ape Cheshire - WA16 6RW

about 21 Miles

Out of all of the Go Ape! courses the one in Cheshire is the most spread out and it takes staff ten minutes to patrol the site on bike - which gives a good indication of the size of this place. If you're looking for an adventurous and memorable day out then Go Ape is highly recommended. Trek through the treetops, swing between the trees and enjoy zip wire rides all as part of your experience. This attraction opens every day from the end of March to end October and is open on weekends in November. Go Ape Cheshire is closed every Tuesday except school holidays.

An annual events programme ensures that seasonal activities take place regularly including spooky Halloween Walks, Christmas Carol Singing and Ranger led events. The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild.
