What a lovely cottage! We were made to feel very welcome and had all the facilities we needed to keep three teenage boys entertained for a week that just flew by far too quickly. It was a very last minute booking too and we're very glad we found this.

Weve stayed here twice now and its a lovely rental for a family of 5 with kids aged 8-5. The hot tub is a lovely treat and the location is fabulous for autumnal walks from the property. Lots of good days out as well all within 40-60 minute drive. Great value for money and the local cider (Sanford Orchards) is excellent.

Wonderful relaxing break away from it all. No cell phone reception so gives you a chance to completely switch off. Great because there is a hot tub and fireplace. Owners are so welcoming and accommodating, and even though they live next door you still feel totally secluded.

The location is very remote and phone and 4g signal was a no no so not ideal if you need your phone. This wasn't an issue for us and we enjoyed the piece and quiet. This cottage is perfect if you are after peace and quiet. The cottage is well equipped and Mrs Hammond is very welcoming and helpful, the scones/jam and clotted cream were excellent. The Hot Tub was a major bonus after a day out. The kitchen facilities are excellent with much new equipment. The cottage was warm and welcoming after a day out. Be pre pared to drive on narrow and windy roads to get to the cottage but this is the charm of the place i.e. in the middle of beautiful. countryside
