We had a really relaxing break here, definitely one of our most restful getaways in ages. The bed was super comfyand the log burner added a lovely cosy touch, especially with the chilly weather. The location is so peacefuland even with the owners nearby, it felt private enough. There are plenty of walks around for our dogsand itâ€™s perfectly placed for visiting Chester Gorge and Wells Cathedral. We didnâ€™t use the hot tub due to the weather, but itâ€™s great to have the option. Loads of logs supplied too. Would recommend!

The interior has everything you could need, whether youâ€™re self-catering or not - there are plenty of pubs nearby if you fancy eating out. The hot tub was fantastic, even though we only used it once because of the cold weather in December. Weâ€™re definitely planning to come back when itâ€™s warmer to enjoy the outdoor space more. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island. And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see.
