We really enjoyed our stay-such a peaceful spot! The place had everything we needed for self-cateringand the hot tub was just perfect. Watching bats fly at dusk was a lovely surprise. No light pollution made it even better.
Emma
Charming place, friendly hosts, loved every minute!
Laura
We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage has such a charming, rustic feel and had everything we needed, including a hot tub which was a big hit. Our family and huskies felt totally welcome, yet we still had plenty of space to relax. The owners were super helpful and quick to answer any questions, no fuss at all. It’s a perfect spot if you’re after a peaceful countryside escape. Plus, Bridgwater and Glastonbury are just a short drive with lots of supermarkets around.
Sarah
We had a really peaceful stay with a lovely hot tub. The cottage could be perfect with a few tweaks. Plenty of nice places to eat nearby, but it’s a shame the village lacks a shop or pub, which would make it even better.
Emma
Our stay at The Old Stables was truly lovely. The place was spotless and modern but still felt cosy, which we loved. The bed was honestly the best we've slept in away from home. The hot tub and bathroom just topped it all off perfectly!
James

We had a really relaxing break here, definitely one of our most restful getaways in ages. The bed was super comfyand the log burner added a lovely cosy touch, especially with the chilly weather. The location is so peacefuland even with the owners nearby, it felt private enough. There are plenty of walks around for our dogsand it’s perfectly placed for visiting Chester Gorge and Wells Cathedral. We didn’t use the hot tub due to the weather, but it’s great to have the option. Loads of logs supplied too. Would recommend!

We had such a lovely stay at The Stables! It’s a really cosy place, perfect for unwinding. The interior has everything you could need, whether you’re self-catering or not - there are plenty of pubs nearby if you fancy eating out. The hot tub was fantastic, even though we only used it once because of the cold weather in December. We’re definitely planning to come back when it’s warmer to enjoy the outdoor space more. Would highly recommend!

The cottage and location were absolutely beautiful. The cottage itself was wonderful and cosyand the lovely new bathroom was a fantastic bonus! We loved the hot tub and wood burner, both of which we used every day...the hot tub was nice and warm. With the smart TV, we could catch up on our programmes while the wood burner was crackling...just perfect.
