Newquay is known as a surfer s paradise with two fantastic beaches to enjoy, all with gorgeous sands, so a day by the sea is a must. Of course, being centrally to the town and only 5 minutes walk to Towan Beach and less than a mile to Fistral Beach, you'll be spoilt for choice for a day out by the sea.

For those who want to explore the county s beautiful scenery, there are an abundance of walks to enjoy around Newquay or further afield to Crantock 4 miles away. You are ideally placed to explore lots of other popular coastal destinations and attractions including Watergate Bay, The Eden Project and a selection of National Trust properties and gardens all within 20 miles.

Accessed via its own private entrance, the ground floor features two beautiful super king size zip and link bedrooms both of which can be made up as twins upon request. Each bedroom has a Smart TV and its own en suite.

One offers a Verdigris tiled bathroom with shower over bath and WC and bespoke river rock stone basin, whilst the other provides a large shower room, WC and bespoke basin made from petrified wood. Moving up the glass panelled staircase and onto the first floor is a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with stylish interiors and a great sense of space.

The gorgeous kitchen is fully equipped offering everything you need to cook up a wonderful meal or pack up a good lunch for a day out. The dining area is comfortable and offers a chance to enjoy a family meal or games night.

We had the most fabulous stay at Lobster House in Newquay. The property is in the most perfect location just off the High street and a stones throw from the beautiful beaches. Lobster House is large, luxurious and was full of thoughtful touches. Our stay at Lobster House was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Location is central and perfect. Upon arrival John showed us round the property and it was clear to see the amount of hard work and love both John and Suzy had put into everything. Great space in every room. Weve just returned from a week in this beautifully renovated chapel. Everything you would need for an amazing trip. Very modern and to a very high specification, lovely touches such as the Bluetooth mirrors in the bathrooms. Beautifully decorated throughout. Super comfy beds and great living area. Kitchen great for preparing meals but also plenty o f places to eat out locally just a minutes walk from the town centre. Loved the outdoor hot tub. John was a great host .

The property is newly converted and done to a high finish throughout. It is in a really central location so walking distance to everything including Sainsburys 2 minutes away and the bus station just behind. The hot tub was accessed separately via a gate at the back which was by a main path but robes are provided thankfully so you dont feel so expo sed. Its only a few steps away anyway. The parking has a key operated bollard to prevent random people parking - this was a great idea. Great stay!

Lobster House is a lovely property. The property was central to town, a few minutes walk from the aquarium and zoo. There are plenty of take out places if that's what.you like. The beach was a 5 minute walk. There are lots of small towns to visit with St Ives being about an hour away. The toiletries were of a high quality and in every bathroom The usual things of cloth, sponge, etc washing and dishwasher tablets. Welcome pack, tea coffee, milk, sugar, wine ,scones, biscuits and cream. Beautiful

The Lobster House 2 was a great place to stay, very central, easy access to the beach. Great to have an electric hook up for the car and a parking space. The decor was stylish and plenty of seating for six. The hot tub was in a small secluded area with plenty of seating. A very enjoyable week with lots of great restaurants in the area.

You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones. Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.

If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.

Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).

Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001. The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
