Vallis Oak Villa Reviews

Raymond
The villa was well looked after, clean and with several benefits. However there was a lack of toilet facilities. On the ground floor there were two double bedrooms. One of these was occupied by an 87 year old lady who was unable to climb the stairs. There was only a toilet on the ground floor. Nowhere to wash oneself properly, or shower. This was situated within the boot room. Turning this into a shower room could have provided facilities for both downstairs double rooms. This sadly let the whole villa down.
Gorgeous house especially for a special occasion. Really wellequipped and homely. Very spacious kitchen and living area so perfect for a big family or group of friends. Great location for visiting Frome and surrounding area. Lovely big garden too and tons of parking. Only downside really is only 2 bathrooms and only a toilet on ground floor level.
Kirsty
Beautiful property, bigger than the photos make it appear. Perfect for a reunion trip with friends or family. Very well stocked kitchen
Vallis Oak Villa was a wonderful setting for a long awaited threegeneration family gathering. The house is spacious and very comfortable and every need was catered for. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and huge garden and the children loved the swing, trampoline and football goal and everyone loved the hot tub. We would thoroughly recommend Vallis Oak Villa.
Beautiful house in a lovely location. We had a petty of 10 stay here and everyone enjoyed it. The bed were very comfortable and the house was spacious, easily accommodating us all. The fire pit was a bonus and many pleasant evenings were spent sitting round it.

Excellent property for a larger group. The owner Marcus very attentive to our needs. Very pleased he agreed to allow us into his beautiful home. Frome a great place with loads of places to visit nearby.
This is the second time we have stayed here and it doesnt disappoint! A fantastic place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at Vallis Oak Villa. The house is fantastic and as others have said, the pictures dont do it justice! The house was welllocated, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and theres also a downstairs WC, utility room and small basement which has bean bags and a TV. Theres a sonos system, games, towels for the hot tub and an outdoor seating area too. We would definitely recommend this property! Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Victoria
We loved our stay! The house was absolutely stunning, so much space.
Hannah
Wow! What an amazing house. Pure Luxury. Everything we needed was there, beds sooo comfortable. Gardens were lovely, as was the hot tubvery clean. The owner was in touch and happy to be contacted if we needed. They were very accommodating. Would highly recommend this property and frome. Lovely Sunday roast in the archangel if youre not in a rush as service a bit slow. Amazing shops. Hoping to return next year.
Excellent stay and the house was immaculately presented in all internal aspects. The garden could do with a little bit of TLC. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.....many thanks.
Vallis Oak Villa is a stunning house that is even better in reality than it looks in the photos. Marcus is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.
Jessica
Easy booking from start to finish. Communication from host excellent. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained. Everyone commented on how comfy the beds were. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary utensils. We had a fabulous weekend. Perfect base for visiting both Bath and Bristol. Wouldnt hesitate to use again.
The property was amazing and very clean. The only thing was there was no hand soap in the upstairs bathroom. Other than that everything was amazing and everything was very kitted out.
Leanne
We stayed here as a group of 10 friends, and we had the best weekend! Relaxing and enjoying time together celebrating my birthday! It was easy to find, the house and rooms inside were lovely and the hot tub was also fab. Would love to come back again and stay in the future.
This is a fantastic place to stay it is faultless. We would not hesitate to stay here again it caters for all. A lot of thought has gone into catering for everyones needs and the three generation & four legged friends that stayed here absolutely loved it! There were great walks, good coffee shops and amenities in Frome itself, all within walking distance. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday home!
Our party of eight had a fantastic weekend stay and we highly recommend the property. Its very easy to find, with a pretty drive and tons of parking space. The house is lovely, very private yet only a short walk into Frome, and superbly equipped. The main open plan living area is fantastic, comfortable sofas, cosy underfloor heating, a huge dining table and a great kitchen. All of the bedrooms are large, comfortable and have high quality bedding. We made use of several of the restaurants close by, the Royal Bengal Indian just 2 minutes away, Bistro Lotte for lunch on a busy Saturday and the Old Bath Arms for Sunday roasts, all were very good. Any areas for improvement, just a couple of things, there is only a family bathroom plus an onsuite in the main bedroom there is a downstairs cloakroom also so for a 6 bedroom house it could do with an extra bath or shower roomand the temperature varied across the house, upstairs bedrooms hot, downstairs bedrooms cold. But these are small things and overall we were incredibly happy with the house, its brilliant.

Vallis Oak Villa is an outstanding place to stay, it has everything you need, plus more. Everything was clean & tidy, the kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of parking. All the spaces, including the garden, felt bigger than the pictures. We were a group of nine staying in the accommodation, with six local guests joining us for dinner one evening, there was plenty of room for everyone. I would definitely recommend this place and would hope to stay here again.
Catherine
This property is amazing. We had an incredible time. Everything we needed was there. The beds were comfortable, property was clean. Then open plan living area was exactly what we were looking for with our group of 10 people. Thank you so much. We have already spoken as a group about booking the property again!
Joseph
This is an amazing place for a group of friends or a family to get together. Well suited for kids too. The pictures don't do it justice. It's a big house with great communal areas and a very well equipped, high spec kitchen. Location is awesome, with country walking on the doorstep and an easy 15 min walk into town. We can't wait to come back sometime. Many thanks!
Gordon
Great house in a great location. Major Advantage was the car parking as loads of room and took our 5 cars easily. Kitchen and social area fantastic for large group.
This house was exactly like the pictures and description, think this is the first time this has happened to us, the house was amazing and we had a lovely family holiday here.
Beautiful house, perfect for a family gathering!
