On entering the property, you are greeted by an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with contemporary furniture and cool slate tones throughout. In the kitchen, the kaleidoscope patterns bring vibrancy to the muted pastel colours. On the deck, you’ll find patio furniture and the hot tub, which is enclosed by a wooden fence for privacy and perfect for a dog. Guests will not be short of activities in Westward Ho!, where you're just 1.5 miles from The BIG Sheep, a popular family attraction with children’s play areas, rollercoasters and events focused around one of Devon's favourite farm animals. The nearby beach is a must-see for guests, with its sprawling sands and sparkling blue water; arguably one of the most beautiful spots in the county to watch the sunset. Afterwards, take a stroll to one of Westward Ho!'s many inns, pubs and restaurants for some local grub and a proper West Country cider.

Peter
A great place for a relaxing holiday, in a quiet location, with lovely views over the countryside. The Pig on the Hill pub, on site is to be highly recommended, just a three minute walk away.
Gordon
Great little property, with good facilities in a fantastic location. 20 minutes walk to town centre and 25 minutes walk in other direction to a wonderful pub with great food. Would love to come again with friends in the summer.

Sofa was hard and could do with thicker base cushion . Cabin was nice and warmed quick with log fire and heaters . Hot tub was used daily . Unfortunately kept circulating over night and disturbed sleep. As well as helicopters landing late evening / night half a mile away .

Peter
Comfort. I am 6ft 1 and found the dining table and chairs not appreciate for adults. Lovely leather bench seating area but was far too hard for comfort. More cushions required A freezer would have enhanced our stay too ideally for a cold Gin and Tonic Also a blind in the bathroom window would have been good Apart from that we had a wonderful time a t Pot belly
Paul
Lovely secluded location overlooking open fields and lazing in the hot tub. We'll equipped kitchen and ample hot water for showering. Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay. Easy access via car around the SW peninsula.
Robert
Had a nice holiday at potbelly, Clean and comfortable. As for walking distance into westward ho! It definitely is within walking distance for an adult, however lodge is located down a remote county lane with very little space either side of a cars width and not many places to avoid traffic if you are on foot, making it unsuitable for children prams etc, which seems a shame because its only 1mile to the beach. The up side to this is there is plenty of parking available in westward ho!
Catherine
A very bijou cottage but excellent for a holiday near to the wonderful beach. The hot tub was an excellent was to relax after a long hot day. The outlook from the decking is completely private and very very quiet and peaceful. We were having a heat wave the the cottage remained comfortably cool. Will definitely come back.
Paul
Nice quiet location, with just a fairly vigorous walk to Westward Ho! and some great eating places. Hot tub, nice addition, used most days.
Robert
A loverly place to stop Great base for walks out and then come back and relax on the sunbeds or in the hot tub Would highly recommend
Lisa
Lovely cottage. relaxing - apart from soft furnishings, the other extras were provided (tea towel, liquid etc) Secluded. Nice tub. Perfect for quiet getaway. Shame the pub/restaurant on site was closed. Means some one ALWAYS has to drive (not drink) if eating out as this property is not walking distance to any other eatery . Lovely short break.
Michael
A fabulous place to stay. Really clean and cosy. Everything you need and could want for a short stay. Great location for walking and the beach. Loved it
Imelda
A very nice and clean cabin with absolutely beautiful views and a lovely hot tub. Very quiet and in a good spot to travel around Devon, with a few improvements it would be excellent but we would visit again.
