Needed more lighting outside ie front door and back porch but lovely views and ... Needed more lighting outside ie front door and back porch but lovely views and quiet location we loved it and we enjoyed our visit
Kathryn
The hot tub made the house and was fabulous! Excellent value for money. Site staff very friendly. Be aware if you are attracted to this property as it is a bungalow there are steps particularly a step down into the kitchen. It was really cold when we arrived but warmed up quickly. Heating is very efficient. Shame there was no welcome box not even a pint of milk, luckily after our last experience.. where there wasn't even a tea bag in the property we were prepared! Kitchen equipment is very basic and could do with more utensils such as scissors, fruit bowl, more mugs. Beds all comfy and the dressing gowns are a nice touch and lovely quality towels. The ensuite bedroom bathroom is very compact with a very narrow entrance. More furniture in bedrooms, such as a chair for clothing would be good plus a few homely touches. Some of the facilities need a bit of TLC, my son was certain the bathroom light switch would fall off, twin bedroom radiator doesn't work sign on it and there is no head on the electric shower. Hooks on doors would be useful too and less harsh lighing.
A lovely weekend stay. The property is large and more spacious than we thought it would be. The hot tub is great and easily fitted our family of 4 in. It is cleaned daily and staff were friendly and efficient. Large kitchen had everything we needed. It is situated on at the front of the holiday park, you dont need to enter the park, so it feels more private. However, it directly backs onto the kids play park, so you can hear kids playing but still felt private. Park useful if you have younger kids with you. Would definitely stay again.

Overall a lovely stay however facilities and maintenance let this property down a few minor add ons tweaks would level up this property significantly. Much bigger fridge if booking for a night or two this fridge is not enough for up to 6 people providing their own food and drink. Full size mirror not one within the whole property. Ironing Board & Iron. Main bathroom shower splash board needs to be better doesnt stop the water spraying all over the floor. Cash machine on site Bar is cash only but no where of getting out cash for use of this. Some kind of outdoor lighting for when the evening draws in. Would recommend and stay again in future still.

Fabulous property enjoyed by us all . Hot tub extra added bonus . Relaxing weekend . Accommodation immaculate and very spacious .
Our stay at the property was plagued by a series of issues that turned what was meant to be a relaxing weekend into a stressful ordeal. From the master bed lacking basic bedding to the curtain falling in one room, and the inadequate ventilation in the kitchen due to the hob's exhaust, it was clear that preparation was lacking. The most pressing problem arose with the electric shower in the main bathroom, which began leaking aggressively on the first night. Despite attempts to contact management, no assistance was provided until the next morning, when they could only disable the shower altogether. Promises of a plumber's arrival went unfulfilled, leaving us to improvise with cold water from a bucket and a kettle. The lack of hot water persisted throughout our stay, with repeated attempts to resolve the issue proving fruitless. Eventually, we were offered access to another facility, but it was too little, too late. The compensation and resolution provided by the owner were insufficient and failed to address the urgency of the situation. Overall, our experience was far from satisfactory, highlighting serious shortcomings in property management and guest satisfaction.

Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially.  A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.  Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.

If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop.
