An amazing place to stay, relax and explore. The whole lodge was spotless and had everything we needed whilst we were there; the hosts were extremely helpful and the location had gorgeous views. We didnt feel overlooked whilst on the decking/in the hot tub even with other lodges close by, the whole site was lovely and we would definitely recommend to friends/family. We visited the bakery and local beach recommended by Zoe, which were both hits with our family so thank you!

Sarah
A very lovely lodge. Extremely clean and well kept. Very well equipped and child friendly too, with things like plastic cups and plates being provided. The beds were comfortable - in all it was very warm and welcoming. We only stayed for a long weekend, but you could happily spend much longer there. The hot tub was very clean and a great temperatur e. Wifi signal for TV was a bit ropey, but being in the middle of nowhere it was actually better than expected!

Brilliant place to stay highly recommend would definitely make a return visit
Ricky
Second time of staying at this lodge but to be honest a bit disappointed this time. Mainly due to cleanliness. The location of the lodge is wonderful and the hot tub we couldnt fault. Was checked twice a day without fail and they even cleaned up the leaves during the week. The lodge itself is just looking a bit tired, nothing a lick of paint wouldn t cure.
Eileen
Ash Lodge was brilliant. The location is quiet. Great for walking especially with the dog. We had everything we needed in the lodge. A welcome box with sachets of coffee, drinking chocolate tea bags, milk, sugar and sachets of squash, along with the cream teas was very much appreciated after a long journey The cleaning pack is a great idea. Soap sh ower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms. A relaxing no stress break. We loved it. The dog loved the long walks.. Highly recommend.
Hayley
I had a wonderful stay in this lodge - very quiet and discreet. I also found the location really lovely as you are just off a main road, I find some of the Devon roads really narrow and quite hairy to drive along. My old dog had a wonderful time also, lovely and secure, he spent plenty of hours 'patrolling' the lodge around the decking.
Julie
Site very well maintained with lovely views. Perfect for a quiet vacation with the luxury of a hot tub.
S
The lodge is clean and tidy, well equipped to a high standard, we loved the hot tub. Good location with nice views of the surrounding countryside. Plenty of green areas to walk the dog. Quiet location only occasionally disturbed by the sound of the cows in the field next door!. South Molton for shops, fuel etc. is just 10 minutes drive away. Good s upport from housekeeper, just a phone call away if needed.
Deborah
Stunning lodge fabulous quiet park What an amazing time we had Thankyou
Charlotte
We stayed at the lodge for a week with the dog. Great communication from the owner and on arrival everything was spotless. A beautiful large large with plenty of space for a couple or small family. Secure decking area which was perfect for the dog who is very nosey. A very quiet retreat perfect for a relaxing break. Lots of utensils in the kitchen. There is a small town about 4 miles away with a Sainsburys and other small shops. You are spoilt for choice with dog friendly beaches and pubs.
Rachel
Beautiful location, lovely looking lodge. I liked how the side of the balcony was at the edge of the park so not overlooked and enclosed for dog and toddler. Had everything you could need and well equipped for young children. Inside very clean, outside area less so. We had amazingly good weather and the lodge did get very hot in the late afternoon/ evening and struggled to cool down as if we opened the doors lots of flies came in. We enjoyed the remote location and the peace and quiet.
Charli
The lodge it self was lovely, inside was immaculate, decor beautiful. Loved how they supply the little things you are likely to forget such as dog bowls, black bags etc. for us the inside was faultless, access to Netflix for the evening. The only thing was the decking area, it needs some TLC as quite grubby and looked unloved making it un attractiv e especially with getting in and out of the hot tub and wanting to sit out side to eat etc. i would say it is a 4 star lodge
Alison
Excellent lodge, very clean and welcoming especially with the cream tea and pint of milk kindly left for us. Highly recommend it. Be warned of the narrow road with little passing places to enter the resort. Glad I never encountered a car coming the other way!
Sarah
Short break away with the family & Dog. Stunning location Top Marks. Inside the Lodge was presented well. Friendly staff. Nice & quiet. Lovely hot tub. Lodge outside area needs some TLC & the garden Furniture has seen better days. Hope this is replaced as a shame not to be able to sit & appreciate the amazing views out. Overall we all enjoyed our b reak away.
Sylvia
Spacious and clean lodge. Lots of thoughtful extras included, like slip on slippers for lodge and hot tub. A good sized fridge freezer, very efficient 3/4 size dishwasher and washing machine helped the holiday go smoothly. Countryside was gorgeous and site is beautifully looked after. Very quiet at night.
Michelle
Lovely site and lovely lodge, beautiful walks and very peaceful.
Paul
Defiantly use again
Karen
A very relaxing lodge. Enjoyed the hot tub.
Ian
Value for money half term break. Definately a secluded spot perfect to get away from the hustle of London. Very nice spacious place, well furnished with nice touches of scones & slippers to use with the hot tub plus Netflix! I am really not sure the hot tub is checked daily. We spent the entire day indoors at one point & saw no one. Also it was imp ossible to use the bath as the hot water was not consistent enough to run one. The kitchen sink water was scorching so not sure what the issue was.
Michael
We would definitely recommend staying here and we are already planning our next visit
Francis
We have spent new Year's eve at the lodge and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The lodge is very nice, well maintained and clean, and very cozy. We have enjoyed spending time in the hot tub as well, and it was great to relax and have a lovely view over the countryside. If you are looking for a lodge with a hot tub in a remote location, this is the one!
