James
We arrived after a long drive and were really pleased to find milk, scones, butterand bread waiting for us - such a lovely surprise! The grounds are well-kept and peacefuland the lodge itself is charming. The decking does look a bit tired, though. We had a small issue with towels, but the staff was super friendly and brought replacements the next day, plus some great local tips. Thanks a lot!

Emma
We had an excellent stay! The place was super peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive to all the main sights. The lodge itself is massive and the kitchen was the best stocked we’ve ever seen. Little surprises upon arrival made us feel really welcome. Can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the balcony more!
Emma
The place looked lovely with a nice interiorand we really enjoyed the vibe. However, the hot tub hadn’t been cleaned during our stay, with film floating on top. Also, the TVs in the bedrooms and lounge had been left on when we came back from a day out. Bedding could’ve been a bit fresher too. Such a shame, as the area itself is lovely.
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was cosy and well-maintained, with friendly staff who checked the hot tub daily. The arrival goodies like cake, bread, butterand milk were a lovely touch. The location’s stunning, though it’s quite remote, which we loved.
Emily

The place was well stocked with everything we neededand the location was spot on. WiFi was a bit unreliable, but honestly, we didn’t mind since it wasn’t essential. The hot tub was a real highlight after long hikesand the welcome pack with bread, milk, butter, tea & coffee was just what we needed after a drive. The cream tea was a lovely touch too!

We had a fantastic stay here! The lodge was super clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome. The location is stunning, with gorgeous viewsand we never felt crowded even with other lodges nearby - the decking and hot tub felt private enough. We also loved the bakery and beach Zoe recommended; both were perfect for our family day out. Would definitely come back!
James
We’ve stayed here a couple of times nowand honestly, this visit was a bit of a letdown. The cleanliness wasn’t quite up to scratch, which was a shame. The lodge’s spot is perfectand the hot tub was fantastic - checked on twice daily and leaves cleared regularly. The place is looking a bit tired though, a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. Still, we enjoyed our stay!
Emma
Beautiful lodge, peaceful park, really enjoyed our stay, will come back soon!
Emma
We had a lovely short escape with the family and our dog. The location is absolutely stunningand the lodge inside was well presented. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. It was peaceful and relaxing, especially with the hot tub. The outdoor area could do with some sprucing up - the garden furniture’s a bit tired. Still, we really enjoyed our break!
James
