It has space for up to six guests over its three bedrooms, so works well for a family trip or holiday among good friends, with one canine chum also welcome to join you. This pretty white house has a pleasing rustic atmosphere and plenty of period features, including sash windows and wooden ceiling beams.

The spacious living room has the unusual addition of a piano – great for a family sing-along! A newly installed wood burner is at one end of the open plan lounge/diner and provides that all important cosy atmosphere in the cooler months.

In the stylish modern kitchen, spend hours preparing multi-course meals in a holiday fashion, then pop open a bottle of red for a leisurely meal with your loved ones. The English country garden is a true haven on a sunny day, with its trees, shrubs, lawn and outdoor seating.

You’ll also have access to a communal outdoor area with a fire pit and trampoline where children can burn off some of that youthful energy. You’ll have a local pub within 1.5 miles and shops for picking up groceries a little further away (2.5 miles).

Cornwall’s capital city, Truro (5.5 miles), offers plenty of shopping, eating and cultural activities, while St Agnes (8 miles) is a scenic village with pretty streets and independent boutiques ripe for exploration. Or why not head to Falmouth (7.5 miles) and take a boat trip from the harbour to view the impressive scenery from the water?
