Stayed in the Monks barn conversion in October 2024. A fantastic place, everything you could want is provided. Ideal to use as a base for visiting the area, then relaxing in the hot tub to sooth those worries away. Cant recommend it enough.

Lovely barn which has been done to a really high standard. The Hot Tub is amazing and the views are the icing on the cake. We did get quite alot of noise from neighbouring barns and feel that there should be something in the welcome book to address respect for other on-site guests though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monks Barn. The views from the jacuzzi were lovely. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. The walks along the nearby canal were ideal for us with our springer spaniel. The only downside was the very busy road right outside the accommodation before being able to access the walks.

Cottage was a lovely, relaxing break. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Views from Monks were beautiful. Loved that we could bring our dog, that was essential to us. Also that there is a walking area right outside the cottage round the fields. Plenty to do in the area if you have a car and can travel 1/2-1hr.

Lovely clean accommodation in nice area. Good quiet road connections from accommodation to places of interest. Nice walk straight out the back door for dogs.

We had a lovely time at Monks Barn. It was very easy to find. The barn itself was freshly renovated and spotless. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a garden for our dog. I would definitely recommend this property.

Thanks so much for providing us with a superb accommodation (with great views) for our one week chill-out holiday in the Fens. We wanted for nothing during this stay and thoroughly enjoyed taking our little dog for long walks round the local waterways and admiring the landscape and natural wildlife of the area. We ate out several times at the HeronRead more (Stowbridge) and would definitely recommend this friendly venue to other visitors. The fairly short trip down the A10 to Ely is also well worth taking, to take in the Cathedral and sights of this historic old city. We will certainly book again when we return to this interesting and picturesque area. Hide
