Sanabrin Reviews

Nicola
Lovely accommodation plus perfect for a dog. Modern and clean. We really enjoyed ourselves home from home
Anthony
Fabulous cottage in a beautiful location. We will definitely return.
Steve
The property is in a great location for visiting North Norfolk and it is very easy to find nice walks for the dog straight from the doorstep. The lounge is well designed and very comfortable. The owners have provided good quality WiFi in all rooms which helps when you are visiting with a teenager. The hot tub is large and in a private location. TheRead more bed in the master bedroom is a good size but is a metal frame and any time you make any small movement in the night it makes a loud creak and wakes up your partner. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking appliances however, would benefit from some extra plates and glasses. The conservatory and twin room (which has its only window into the conservatory) got very hot in the summer and we had to go and buy fans to make it ok for my son to sleep in there. Overall a nice property but needs some tweaks. Hide

Sanabrin is beautifully presented property, appears to have been refitted recently with a beautifully presented bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms. Very clean and tidy property, plenty of space for a young family with children and a pet. The property is located immediately next to a public space (very quiet, very few users) thus handy for pet owners, aRead morend ultimately a vert quiet location off the main A road (there is no noise from the road audible at the property). We had a wonderful stay at the property. The location is good for access to the north coast (most coastal towns between 25-45mins accessible from Hunstanton across to Cromer). We had a wonderful time away, the kids were very pleased with the 65" TV! Hide

Great little place in a lovely, peaceful location. Hot tub and views fantastic, gets the sun all day long and cottage was very well-equipped. Secure garden (just watch the little hole next to the gate) for the doggie too made it a lovely stay - the fact we had an amazing week of weather helped!
Elaine
Sanabrin cottage is a lovely cottage. Tastefully done with the added bonus of a hot tub. Ideal if you have a dog as the garden is fully enclosed. Lovely views across the fields and ideal for walking. Approx 25 mins or so to Holkham and Wells-Next-The-Sea. Perfect really.
Matthew
Great cosy cottage. The owner was a wonderful host. We had issues with the heating and he came and sorted it out straight away. Very friendly and kind. We would definitely stay here again. It has everything you need.
Neil
We had a wonderful stay at this property in December 2023. We are a family of 4 2 young children and a puppy and couldn't have found a more perfect location. Very modern, warm interior furnished really well with a lovely TV and family area, bedrooms well set up and a well equipped kitchen. Set on the back of a field with play equipment and lots of Read morespace for ball games and a dog to run that you can overlook from the conservatory while having a family meal. Lovely welcome package and an owner who was very responsive if we needed any support - highly recommend to all and certainly somewhere we will visit again in the future! Hide

Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 8 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 9 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 16 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 17 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 20 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 20 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 21 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 22 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 25 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
