The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway is a historic narrow-gauge steam railway located in North Devon, offering visitors a trip back in time aboard authentic Victorian carriages!
Originally opened in 1898, the railway was closed in 1935 but has been partially restored, now offering a 1-mile journey from Woody Bay Station to Killington Lane.

The railway is entirely volunteer-run and is part of an ambitious project to rebuild more of the original 19-mile route.
At Woody Bay Station, visitors can also enjoy the tea room, offering a range of refreshments, including Devon’s famous cream teas. The station has a small shop, a woodland walk, and a picnic area.
