The Woodside Reviews

The lodge was beautifully presented and so comfortable. The area was stunning with so many places to visit. The only issue we had was there were no instructions for any of the appliances. So it was difficult to use them. Having said that we had a great holiday and will definitely return one day to the area.
Melanie
We had a lovely stay over the new year weekend. The property was clean and the kitchen has every utensilpans etc you would possibly require We will definitely be booking again
Hi, I have already emailed and had no response yet. We had a lovely stay, but the washing machine door would not open and we had 2 items of clothing. How can I arrange to get these back?
Siobhan
The cabin and surrounding area was fabulous and really good for our family and Labrador. The hot tub was a lovely bonus to a superb cabin. The only downside was the onsite pub with the only close by option for food had closed it was September. We would definitely book again. The Woodside walls were lovely too.
Absolutely perfect lodge for a few days away. Spotlessly clean, perfect location, lots of lovely walks nearby and nice and quiet. Hot tub was a massive bonus even if we couldn't get it to heat up properly, that was just our issue not the hot tub! We will most definitely be back for another visit. We are a family of 5 with 2 dogs
Andrew
Lodge was great. A few minor maintenance issues to look at one of the dimmer switches is temperamental and towel hanger on the back of the ensuite door is loose. As I say, very minor but thought Id mention it. The rest of the lodge was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
James Jack
Lovely place to spend a week. Loved every minute of it and will be booking for next year. The only criticism I would have would be to maybe change the mattress as you can tell they are worn.
We had a lovely relaxing weekend away at the end of Oct and already looking at returning again next year
Gordon
Overall lodge is excellent, plenty room enjoyed our stay, minor things are, a small table in living room for drinks etc and ensuite shower grout and seal could do with deep clean.
Maxine
The lodge is in a lovely location and has everything you need, however this is not a site for families or restrelaxation as it attracts many hen dos and other noisy celebrations which we experienced each eveningnight during our stay.
Alistair
While we overall satisfied with the facilities in the lodge we felt that the following could be improved. 1. Table in front of the sofachairs in living room for putting down fooddrink. we had to move one of the main table benches to act as a table. 2. Provide some smaller glasses for drinking whiskyrum etc. 3. Provide toilet roll holder in ensuite bathroom 4. Look at shower heads in both bathrooms as water doesnt flow very well through them.
Given wrong key safe code so had to phone to get spare key. TV problems which got fixed second day. High tech cooker took some figuring out. All issues solved with helpful chats.
