The lodge was lovely very clean had everything you need for a stay great hot tub ... The lodge was lovely very clean had everything you need for a stay great hot tub could just do with a little tlc around it maybe decking but hot tub itself was great had a few lovely gifts left for us too which was so nice I'd recommend Aspen Lodge 100 and I'm sure we will be booking again in the future

Unfortunately the cleanliness let this break down. The campsite itself was lovely and welcoming but the lodgecaravan had a lot to be desired. Dead bugs and spiders webs everywhere. The electrical equipment needs checking for PAT Testing. The fridge expired in 2022 and other items such as microwave, kettle and toaster didnt have one. The cooker was so dirty I couldnt even cook a frozen pizza. Im just glad I took my own air fryer. The hot tub has duct tape around the top of it unsure why. The steps to the lodge are propped up with breezeblocks which didnt fill you with confidence. The lights around the tub didnt work. I can forward photos if required. We watched the so called cleaners do 3 vanslodges in 25 minutes.

Fantastic break only issue was we couldnt work the TV but neither of us were very technical

What a lovely place! Lovely comfy sofa, modern furnishings and a really tranquil setting. Wed happily recommend it and were keen to come back again ourselves!

Everything was lovely! With the added extras of a beautiful room scent and a book by my favourite author for unexpected entertainment

Property was very nice and hot tub was lovely and relaxing. Few problems with property clothes left behind the small bedroom door and oven wasn't very clean but was rectified as soon as brought to the attention of the manager

Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.

The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
