With room for up to six guests, you can bring the family along (two furry friends included) and explore walking and bicycle trails from your front doorstep. Stylish inside and out, this charming abode features cohesive colour schemes and carefully chosen artwork throughout.

It offers comfortable open plan living with lovely wooden floors, a sleek dark grey kitchen, a bright dining area with yellow chairs and a spacious lounge area. Sliding glass doors bathe the room in sunlight, making it a perfect spot to relax with a book and a cuppa.

The adjoining games room is about good times, with a pool table, dart board, comfy sofas and a Smart TV. The garden is a truly wonderful space, with a fire pit, BBQ, sun loungers and private hot tub, all with those wow factor views as your backdrop.

Nearby, Cliffe Castle Park (3 miles) is great for dog walks, and less than 2 miles away you ll have the National Trust's East Riddlesden Hall, a 17th century manor house with a shop and tea room. Venture 6.5 miles to explore Haworth and Bronte Country, where you can lose yourself in the history and the beauty of the moors or enjoy discovering Bingley Five Locks (3 miles) on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

Ogden Water Country Park (10.5 miles) and the breathtaking landscapes of Nidderdale AONB (24.5 miles) are perfect for outdoor enthusiasts craving picturesque walks and picnics.

This is such a lovely place to stay, whatever the weather. Martin and Sue were amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Located in the Castleford area of West Yorkshire this is a fun family day out with loads of activities under one roof.   For the energetic there is a real snow slop for skiing and rock climbing walls.  For the more laid back then there is a cinema and bowling alley.  This place caters for all ages and there are seasonal events on throughout the year too. This attraction is described on their website as the "Ultimate Entertainment Destination " so why not check out their site for the latest admission costs and opening times?

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
Bowland Wild Boar Park - PR3 2QT
about 27 Miles
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
