The Stables Horselea Reviews

Julie
Comfortable cottage in great location for travelling around Fife and Perthshire.
Catherine
Stayed at the Stables for a few nights recently. We had a lovely relaxing, peaceful stay. The cottage really is a home from home, has everything you need. The owners live next door and are very friendly. We were welcomed into the cottage by Claire (Carol popped by later) and Carol popped by the night before we left to check everything had been ok.
Ann

A lovely, comfortable and well equipped cottage in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful location but with easy access to Perth. The hot tub was excellent, as were some of the sunsets looking over the recently harvested fields.

Lovely cottage with views of the countryside and the luxury of a hot tub. Short drive to Perth for City or to surrounding places for walks, so ideal for us. Claire and Carol very friendly and offered local suggestions for places to eat We really enjoyed our stay !!

The cottage was amazing and we loved the upstairs lounge with lovely views. Plenty of parking space. Plenty of towels provided for both bathrooms and the hot tub. Thank you.
Helen
A fabulous property with everything you could wish for. It was extremely well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. All basic foods and tea/coffee was ready waiting for us and as we arrived quite late it was lovely knowing we had milk etc for the morning before we headed out to the local shops. Highly recommended.

Lisa
What a lovely cottage, so clean and very week stocked- we had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us, Jim even took us shopping when our car had broken down. Highly recommend a stay here, we will definitely be back!
Calum
Amazing stay at an amazing cottage. Owners were as friendly and helpful as can be and the location is spectacular. A very well kept place and excellent value for money. My only small gripe was that there is no radiators, this isnt a problem for heating as the floors and walls are all heated but for drying off clothes when its raining outside it can be a little bit of a nuisance, but it was only an issue once for us. If you need a nice getaway from work and city life I'd highly recommend :)
Tina
This was an absolutely fantastic place to say, so quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of Perth town and many local attractions and walks. The owners were friendly and on hand but not intrusive. I loved having the farm animals around along with Luna and Molly the dogs (house gates can be shut if you don't want to see the dogs). I had the most w onderful week.
Philip

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 27 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
