We had a lovely time at this charming cottage. The owners were super friendly and really helpful, making us feel welcome. The location is absolutely stunning, perfect for escaping the city. The property is well looked after and good value for money. Our only tiny gripe was the lack of radiators - the floors and walls are heated, which was fine, but drying clothes on rainy days was a bit tricky. Still, it’s a fantastic spot for a relaxing break. Definitely recommend if you’re after a peaceful getaway from work!

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 27 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
