Swn y mor Reviews

Catherine
We had a wonderful stay here. The house was clean and welcoming. The location is ideal for walking along the beach and the pub next door is lovely. Their food is so good and you get lots for your money! The beds were very comfy and a TV in every room which meant people could retreat for some space if they wanted too. The kitchenliving area was a great communal space and we enjoyed lots of nights as a family in there. Definitely set up if you have a little one too. They made up a lovely comfy bed for my little girl in the travel cot and high chairs were available and stair gate. The owners were lovely and very responsive to any queries we had when we messaged prior to our stay. Only one minor thing which could be a suggestion is hooks for the towels by the hot tub so you can hang it up.

There was a large group of us 10 plus 2 dogs staying to celebrate a special birthday 80th and a special anniversary 60th. The property was exactly as described and had ample room to accommodate us all comfortably. We loved the open plan living with sea views upstairs, where we could chill and cook in the fabulous kitchen. The bedrooms were all good with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms, with great showers. Upon arrival, the place was absolutely spotless and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The outside area was great with a large hottub and lots of seating to enjoy the fabulous views to the sea. Location wise, it worked perfectly for a large, multigenerational group as the beach was opposite, there was a great pub with excellent food next door and the village with shop and further eateries was an easy walk away. It was also a useful base for us to tour around the area we visited Saundersfoot, Tenby, Bosherston, Stackpole, Pembroke Castle, Freshwater East. Finally a big thank you to the owners communication was great and they work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect for guests when they arrive. We really enjoyed ourselves and would not hesitate in staying here again. Thank you.
Beautiful house and lots of equipment. The bedding and towels were lovely quality. The hot tub area is a bonus. The 4 ensuite bathrooms make for a very grown up setting for teenagers. Overall a good base for coastal adventures. We did leave a message for the owner about the gutters and aroma in the little bedroom but opening the window helped. Access at this end of Amroth onto the beach means a climb down over the sea defence rocky bank. Would still highly recommend this lovely house.

Third time visiting this property and it didn't disappoint. Excellent family house, superb location and views and a very friendly and helpful host. Nothing to fault and we'll hope to be back soon.
All 3 generations of our family, had a fabulous Easter holiday at Swn y Mor. The property had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The spacious openplan living area had lovely sea views, and the stylish kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of board games and books available if you didnt want to venture to the huge beach across the road, and the hot tub was a great place to watch the sun go down over the sea. The location was excellent, with a great pub restaurant right next door and the lovely village of Amroth just a 10 minute stroll away. Ardderchog!
We stayed for a 40th birthday party and everything about this was absolutely perfect. The home was spotlessly clean on arrival, and was perfectly equit with everything needed. It is in a great location and decorated to a high standard that really feels homely. Thank you, we cant wait to return in the summer
A fabulous house in a great location. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were of really high quality very clean and comfortable. The upstairs open plan kitchen and living room was perfect for a large group of people. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Located just over the road from the sea and with a great view from the lounge area. We definitely hope to return for another holiday.
Andrea
Very friendly owners , always available. Beautiful property well stocked with cutlery and crockery and comfy beds. Tub chairs need replacing but that was the only issue. The house overlooks the sea and is next door to the pub which has great food and friendly staff. The house is large and comfy and has a fantastic private hot tub along with a raised rear garden with lots of garden furniture. Quick walk in to Amroth where everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this property.
What a beautiful place, the cottage was perfect for a family of 9 with 2 dogs. The layout of the place was perfect. The bedrooms spacious and clean. It was a perfect location for us as the beach was just across a quiet road and a pub next door. We were lucky with the weather and celebrated our daughters 21st while there. Short walk to local shops and restaurants and a short drive to nearby Tenby. We loved it and would definitely recommend to anyone. Well worth the 6 hour drive.
All the family loved the well equipped house with its fabulous view and its proximity to the sea and pub next door. Amroth is a lovely quiet hamlet. We met the owners who were a lovely, friendly couple and so welcoming. Some of our party put on wet suits and swam in the sea, others walked along the front watching the anglers when the tide was in. For children old and young Folly Farm is an amazing place to visit and only 15 minutes drive away.

Great break away. Leanne was great with communication and wed love to stay there again. Thank you
We were 5 adults, 2 young teenagers and a dog and there was plenty of space for all of us in the bedrooms, the comfy seating, the dining seating and the outside seating. The indoor and outdoor spaces were as described and the two minute walk to the beach encouraged frequent visits. We had a great time.
A very clean and smart property overlooking the sea. Just what we wanted. The kitchendining seating area is particularly high spec. Outdoors, the deck and hot tub were loved by the family.
We couldn't believe our luck to come across Swn y mor on your website. The pictures and description sounded amazing so I booked it for myself and my partner, our three children and our little jackapoo. On arrival it was everything we could have hoped for and more. We were allowed an early check in and upon entry we were blown away at the size of the place, the amenities, the bedrooms and ensuites, the awesome kitchen and the views of the sea from the spectacular hot tub. The location....right on the sea front and next door to a pub......fantastic. I can't thank Leanne enough for her lovely text messages and assurance of assistance should we need it.
Our second stay at this amazing property. We visited with family aged from 11 to 78 and there was never a dull moment! Everything was fantastic, a perfect base to explore the area. Plenty of parking, hot tub great, good wifi, cleanliness 1010. The food at the New Inn pub next door was a highlight of the holiday! The owners are fabulous, such lovely people and I'm sure we'll be returning. Thank you!
We had an amazing stay at Swy n mor, and after only staying one night rebooked for the following year! !! The house was fantastic, in such a great location and very well equipped. Leanne was on hand to answer any questions we had. There were many walks directly from the house, and of course the beach was a stones throw away, great to walk the dogs and see the sun come up each morning, and handy for paddleboarding in the evenings. Having the pub next door was a bonus, the food was excellent. We even had a private gate from our front patio into the pub garden what more could you ask for! We can't wait to come back, thank you.
Outstanding well equipped spacious property I dont think I could have bettered my search for a location to accommodate 7 adults 1 infant and 1 Labrador. Extremely close to local pub serving good choice of good food and less than 100mts from beach.
Jennifer
Lovely place to stay especially with little children. very handy having a baby gate upstairs and astro turf on the back outside area, all very safe for their feet. Hot tub very nice with beautiful views of the sea. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. Lovely holiday had.
Robert
Great accommodation and perfect location. Loved our stay there and would thoroughly recommend it.
We had a lovely three night break at Swn Y Mor for my sister in laws birthday. Its in a perfect location for exploring and enjoying amroth. Clean and comfortable cottage with plenty of space for large groups and modern facilities. Every bedroom has an ensuite which is perfect if you have several families together. The pub next door has a great atmosphere but doesnt encroach on your stay if youd prefer it not to. Unfortunately the hot tub and WiFi didnt work during our stay but the owners were very approachable about this matter. We would recommend this property as a lovely place to stay as it has everything you need in a holiday home
Fabulous cottage. Great location, plenty of amenities and hot tub was brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to visit again.
Anthony
We were thrilled with the cottage, the location couldnt have been better. Our family was split in two and were all delighted with the stay. Thank you for a hassle free week, Im sure we shall use you again in the future. February or November are the times for us so would be pleased for any special offers around those times. Thank you again Regards Pat and Tony Bath.
Beautiful holiday home in ideal location with stunning views. The home is so thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. We were a group of 4 couples so the individual facilities in each room bathrooms and tv were ideal. The upstairs open plan room is amazing and the kitchen perfect for preparing and sharing communal meals. Hot tub was a huge bonus as was the use of the kayak! Well definitely be back!
Spacious and wellequipped property in a fantastic location. with lovely view from upstairs window. The Hot tub was icing on cake for our family celebration holiday perfect after our daily swim in the sea. Owner very quickly sorted a plumbing related problem . Only negative comment was no barbecue provided this was listed in summary of property facilities. Highly recommended.
Michael
Excellent spacious well equipped. Great location.
Jacqueline
The property is lovely, the view from the upstairs lounge is amazing and you can listen to the waves! The property has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and any questions you may have are answered quickly. The hot tub is in a great position where you can sit and enjoy the views of the sea and the bay. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
Great stay in Swyn y Mor at Amrita. Lovely house and the owners were so helpful and attentive. Loved the touches like the Xmas tree on arrival and lovely box f Xmas goodies, so kind of them. Beautiful walks along the coastal path, loved our meals too at the Amroth Arms, super place, and my morning coffee in the Pirates Cafe!
Very spacious and well equipped. Ideally situated for the beach and for walking the dogs. Lovely views. Would certainly like to return next year.
Victoria
Great family holiday, there was 8 of us in total and it was the right amount of space. The facilities were excellent specially hot tub! Location was great and so lovely to hear the sea!

10 of us stayed here and was impressed with the house and location. The pub next door offers amazing food and take away.
Lovely welcome from the owner , Great property well equipped and spotless , a ... Lovely welcome from the owner , Great property well equipped and spotless , a fabulous hot tub which we all enjoyed , location was great , driving distance to the main hotspots around the area and a fab pub right next door , and the weather was perfect

WiFi was erratic all week and all the TV's seem to have to be retuned each time they were used each day my wife, our son 29 and our daughter 26 told the same story. Spa was great but no instructions to BT into the music system frustrating so phones used to play music but risked water ingress into them. No frying pans of any sort which confuddled the chef's in our group great the pub will deliver locally and return a 10 discount used twice. Amroth is the family's favourite beach so location and spec would mean would stop again. No anti slip mats in each wash room so gave ours over to son so 18mth granddaughter safe when in the shower. Think that's it, great week for our family, granddaughter and two rescue dogs plus the 2021 Euro's on so monster TV was like our own pub lounge.
We had a really god holiday and found the owners very friendly and helpful. Sitting in the hot tub looking at the sea was memorable.

Great position, owners couldnt have been more helpfull, house perfect
An absolutely lovely property in a great location. Sea views from the windows and great food from the New Inn next door. The pub is not rowdy so does not impinge on your seclusion if that is what you want. A welcome pack including a bottle of wine was much appreciated.
Sandra
Swn y mor is a beautiful property with just about everything you could possibly need catered for. Ideally situated to lots of amenities and attractions, with the beach just across the road. The New Inn next door had outside eating area and served great food with the added bonus of 10 off for us being staying guests nothing was too much trouble Even in this worrying time with all the uncertainty and restrictions there was still plenty to do to enjoy our holiday The hosts Paul and Leanne were exceptional and made us feel very welcome, I would highly recommend this property to all.
This is a fabulous property in an ideal location for enjoying walks on the beach and in the Pembrokeshire countryside. Very well appointed internally with comfy beds and excellent ensuite facilities for each bedroom. The open plan kitchen and day space is modern and well equipped with good views of the sea. The TV has satelite channels, and the free wifi was of a good speed and reliable helpful as no mobile phone reception. The house is warm and comfortable throughout with high quality bedding and towels provided. The welcome pack with New Years celebration goodies was a great touch. The owners, who were available but unobtrusive, also run the pub next door which was very welcoming Winter opening hours applied during our stay. As this was a Winter break, and as we expected, not all facilities in Amroth were available, but Kilgetty and Saundersfoot have everything needed and more, and are easily accessible by car.
