The lodge is so easy and very comfortable. Spacious with everything needed for a holiday with a good fitted kitchen. We were only two but even up to compliment there would be plenty of room. I think the lodge would be great, even in the winter with the option of heating and endless hot water for baths and showers. The lodge, although not pretty on the outside was beautiful on the inside. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There was a lovely loaf and milk provided on arrival. The views were gorgeous and despite storm Eunice we managed to enjoy the hot tub and chill out. The location is good for many local attractions and we managed a bracing walk on Woolacombe beach. Would definitely book this one again.

Windwhistle lodge us located in South Molton we found it to be quite central for the south west coastline. It was clean and spacious. The owners were very helpful when we had a minor hiccup with the heating and it was sorted straight away. The hot tub was wonderful after having the dogs out all day. It was all in all a fabulous stay(so much so we t ried to stay another 2 nights).

The first thing you notice on entering the lodge was how clean it was. It was spotless and smelled lovely and clean. Its located in a nice private spot where you dont feel looked over. The owners were very friendly and available if you needed them but did not intrude . The lodge had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was like a home f rom home and We could have quit easily stayed for good. The hot tub was a lovely addition especially after your long walks.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.
