Excellent lodge, very well equipped, superbly clean. The owners are so friendly and helpful but by no means in your face. Lovely area to base yourself in for exploring Exmoor and the surrounding areas. We hope to be back when time allows.

The cottage was quite spacious and the location was peaceful. Not too far to the local shop, few minutes drive to Sainsbury's. Fully enclosed garden was secure for the dog. The owners were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that some of the equipments could do with replacing .

We enjoyed our stay. The weather was really beautiful, hot, so the hot tub didn't get a lot of use but was a really nice addition. It was very quiet, just the sound of the sheep. The owners were very nice and respected the privacy of the Lodge. We did find the double bed and sofa's a little uncomfortable and perhaps they have seen better days. The lodge is so easy and very comfortable. Spacious with everything needed for a holiday with a good fitted kitchen. We were only two but even up to compliment there would be plenty of room. I think the lodge would be great, even in the winter with the option of heating and endless hot water for baths and showers. The hot tub was used each day by mRead morey daughter and was the hit of of the week! Hopefully we will be able to return in the Spring. Hide

This was an absolutely fantastic holiday in a lovely location. Windwhistle Lodge was incredibly clean, well equipped, modern and comfortable. A excellent place to stay for us adults and our dogs, lodge had everything inside you need home from home and was clean and the large hot tub was great to relax in after a full day out visiting all the places and coast lines near by. Lucy and Steve were great hosts there if you needed them. Highly recommended we will be going back.
