The place was really cosy and inviting, loved the saunaand the hot tub was massive! We had a great stay overall, definitely recommend it.

This lodge was really lovely, with everything we could ask for. It’s spacious and thoughtfully designed. The sauna and hot tub were fantastic extras. We had a perfect break and felt really looked after. No issues at alland we’d definitely come back soon!
Emma
Lovely cottage with everything we needed; owners were quick to respond and friendly.
Laura
Our stay was truly lovely. The lodge was spotless and well-equipped, nestled in such a gorgeous area. We couldn’t get enough of the peacocks dropping by every day, it was quite special!
Emily
We had a lovely long weekend here. The drive down the lane was a bit nerve-wracking on a damp, misty night, but once we arrived, it was so peaceful. The peacocks wandering about were a nice touch! The lodge itself feels a bit old-fashioned, but the kitchen was spotless. Heaters warmed up quickly during the chilly September weekend. The bathroom was massive but could do with some shelves near the sink and a chair for clothes. Also, a dressing table in the bedroom would be greatand bigger mugs for tea lovers! Definitely a charming stay.
Tom
Chilled and nice
Emma
We had a fantastic 5-night stay! Alex was so helpful throughout our visit, making everything smooth. The hot tub and sauna were real highlights - absolutely loved them. All the facilities were spot onand a nice touch was the bottle of wine waiting for us. Alex even brought down a Tassimo machine to use, which was great. The owners were honest about the access, warning that low cars might struggle due to some potholes, which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend!
Alex
We had an awesome stay at Newhaven! The cabin was surprisingly spacious, much larger than it looks in the picsand super cosy once the heating was on. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic perksand we loved the cheeky peacock watching over the car. The drive up the track needs a bit of care, but it’s a perfect spot for exploring the stunning coast nearby. Definitely worth it!
Matthew
Absolutely loved this place! The peaceful vibe and cosy atmosphere made our stay special. The kids were thrilled to spot the peacock wandering aboutand the hot tub was just the cherry on top. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
Emma
The cottage was super cosy and felt just like home. Everything was really cleanand it had all we needed. Perfect spot-close enough to shops and attractions but still quiet for some peace and quiet!
Lucy
We had a fantastic stay in this lodge! It’s super spacious and really cosy, especially during the cold snap-so warm we had to turn the heaters down. The beds and pillows were comfy, making it hard to leave bed in the morning. The hot tub is massive with loads of jetsand it’s great having it under cover so we could enjoy it rain or shine. The track’s a bit bumpy, so watch your tyres, but overall, a lovely spot to relax!
Emma Carter
This place is perfect if you want some peace and quiet. The cottage is stunningand we’re already planning to return soon. Thanks a lot!
Emily
We loved the lodge! Spacious, beautifully decoratedand well-equipped. Perfect for relaxing but still close to scenic spots. The peacock visits every morning - so charming and not loud at all.
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and restful. The only issue was the walk from the main bedroom to the bathroom, which could be tricky at night and a bit painful if you're not careful.
Emma
Huge space, really comfy, lovely decor, enjoyed the hot tub and sauna!
Emily
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s hidden away but still close enough to explore Branscombe and nearby villages. We managed to visit about 5 or 6 beaches within just 15 minutes. After a day out, we loved relaxing in the jacuzzi or soaking up the sun on the front patio. The place had everything we needed, including a sauna! Thanks a lot, we’d definitely come back again.
Charlotte

Emma
We stayed here for my partner’s 30th birthdayand it was perfect. The location is stunning, with beautiful views and absolute silence - no traffic noise at all. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The size was impressive, way bigger than the pictures showed. The sauna and hot tub were real highlights.
