Mellydone Beder Del is a stunning, single-storey lodge situated on the outskirts of St Breward in Cornwall. Set within a large quarry and with two lakes, this unique retreat offers a first-class getaway for families and friends to Cornwall.
Illuminated with natural light, the contemporary open-plan living space offers a delightful space to relax in the evening; take a seat on the sumptuous sofa before the Smart TV, tuning into your favourite on-demand shows or simply reminiscing over the holiday so far. Head to the breakfast bar and keep the chef of the group company whilst they get acquainted with all the mod cons, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, so you won’t have to lift a finger when it comes to washing up!
When the evening draws to a close, retire to one of the three bedrooms, each tastefully furnished with crisp white bed linen and enjoying en-suite facilities and Smart TVs, so you can resume your binge watching in bed! After the thrill and excitement of a day on the moors or enjoying the exhilarating lakes, relax in the hot tub out on the terrace, before returning to the lodge, or gather your loved ones for an alfresco meal.
When it comes to dining out, you have two of the finest moorland pubs in Cornwall just two miles away; head to the award-winning Old Inn, dating back to the 11th century, or book a table at the Blisand Inn, famous for its quality range of real ale and former national CAMRA pub of the year award. Nearby, Poley’s Bridge marks the beginning of the Camel Trail, a 17-mile long route, which follows a long, disused old steam engine railway line to Padstow.
