The Farmhouse

Fantastic stay at the farmhouse. We fell in love with Anglesey. Everything was thought of and catered to at the property. The decor and furnishings were highend spec. Hot tub was a hit. Great to have use of the gym and boot room. Well situated, with attractions, beaches and good restaurants in short driving distance. We will definitely choose to come back again. Only ask next time would be egg cups!

The best Sykes property weve stayed in! We loved our stay at The Farmhouse. Having stayed in quite a few Sykes properties over the years, we can honestly say this is the best one so far. The property is beautifully furnished, both inside and out, and you can tell that a huge amount of thought, effort and care has gone into making it such a lovely place to stay. Its stylish, comfortable and feels like a real home from home. The setting is gorgeous. Its peaceful and rural, but not so remote that you feel completely off grid. It provided a fantastic base for exploring Anglesey and beyond. During our stay we visited Angel Bay to see the seals, Ynys Llanddwyn, Cemaes Bay, Parys Mountain, Beaumaris, Puffin Island, Menai Bridge, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and Llandudno. The welcome pack we received before our stay was great and contained lots of really useful tips and recommendations for places to visit, eat and explore. We certainly made good use of it! There are some lovely places to eat within easy reach of the property, including Lastra Farm Hotel and Bay View Restaurant. Sage Kitchen in Menai Bridge is also well worth a visit, and a special mention to The Bell Y Gloch in Cemaes Bay, which was incredible for lunch! The welcome basket on arrival was another lovely touch, with Prosecco, waffles and milk waiting for us. Very much appreciated! Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and exceptionally well equipped. The attention to detail throughout really stood out, and we couldnt have asked for a better place to come back to after a day exploring. The hot tub and bath were particularly relaxing at the end of a busy day. We had a fantastic stay and genuinely didnt want to leave. The Farmhouse is a very special place, and we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning location and property. Would highly recommend. If there was one thing to change & it's being picky, a 2300hrs hot tub curfew instead of 2200hrs would've been appreciated. Still, definitely be returning

Beautiful accommodation & site. Very spacious, well designed, clean & comfortable. There were six of us over three generations & the accommodation was suitable for us all with everything you could need. Some clothes hanging space would have been useful in the third bedroom. We would highly recommend The Farmhouse & will stay again in the future.

Had a lovely week at the Farmhouse. Very comfortable and everything is of a high standard. The hot tub was very welcome and very well used at the end of each day after walking coastal paths. Robes are provided for guests so that is a bonus. Just a couple of niggles. Unable to use hanging space in main bedroom as couldn't reach the rail, and a dressing table or chest of drawers would be useful as loads of space for one. Also if going as a group of six you wouldn't be able to use the hot tub at the same time as only fits four. That said, we had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend to family and friends. We stayed at the farmhouse for my partners birthday in January, and it was the best place we ever stayed at, the house was big and beautiful just as the pictures show. It was very easy to locate. My partner was happy and we will definitely be coming back soon.

Beautifully appointed with luxury in mind. Good location to explore and easily accessible. The gym and hot tub were added bonuses that were well used. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend. The accomodation was lovely . I found the stairs going up to the bedrooms could of done with a handrail on the lower part Bedroom are lovely but did have trouble with one of the bedroom blinds Hot tub was great and out side area be fantastic in the summer time. We all had a lovely Christmas break

What an amazing place to stay. Comfortable, large and everything you would ever need. We had a couple of niggles but I honestly don't know what could be done about them. The Hob you need a degree in cooker hobs to work this one out, even when following the very detailed instructions, it was telling me I had the wrong pan! Did not use it after the 1st attempt. Not an issue for us. The wardrobe in the main bedroom none of us could reach the hanger bar all 4 of us are 5 foot 2 or under so it was impossible to reach. That said we would def recommend to anyone and we would stay again. The hottub was fab and a great added bonus.

Second time stating here and this place is perfect for a relaxing break. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very well equipped for any eventuality. We had the best time with our family who loved every minute.

Absolutely amazing property and i cannot wait to return. The attention to detail with the furnishing and the facilities in the Farmhouse were exceptional. I had the most relaxing and comfortable stay. I can never sleep for the first couple of nights in a different bed when i travel and i was flat out asleep on the first night in the lovely King bed with high quality bedding! Wonderful place i cannot recommend enough.

The property was stunning in every way Excellent communication leading up to our stay Would definitely recommend to others My only comment is around safety and a couple of non slip mats could be helpful in the wet areas a grab rails on the wall Nearing the bottom of the stairs a continuation of the stair rail would also be helpful . I mention these issues in the light of me recently having had a hip replacement , but truly lovely accommodation Thank you

Property was stunning. Fitted beautifully with everything you'd possibly require. Communication with owners was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate in booking again if visiting Anglesey.

No grater, no Caollander, not enough cooking dishes. listing states log burner, we took logs no log burner. clothing from previous guests found in bedroom drawers, debris clothes label and paper under 2nd bedroom chest of drawers. Unable to open Key safe had to call owner. Keys for boot room and gym provided within house, but keys are also left in doors, so they are not safesecure.

Superb ease of locating and accessing the property. Heating easy to manage if we needed it cooler we were blessed with a week of pure sunshine ! Hot tub could be a little warmer and no grater to be found but apart from those minor blips, the property was of very high standard and felt like a home from home with the deluxe finish to details. We loved it and would definitely go back !

Absolutely stunning property in a fabulous location. 30 mins walk to the beach of 5 mins by car. The house had everything you needed and is beautifully decorated

We loved our stay it was so cozy and peaceful, the house is gorgeous and we were welcomed by the lovely maggie and jimmy. Lauren responded to any enquiry very quickly and everyone was so kind. We would love to come back. The only thing i would say to improve is more space to store food in the cupboards as we couldnt find any empty ones.

Wow! we stayed in The Farmhouse, we loved every minute. The whole house felt luxurious. Attention to detail was exceptional. We would definitely recommend this place to stay. The location is great for exploring all the island and then a dip in the hot tub to relax. We couldnt fault it.

5 Stars A Wonderful Stay! We had a fantastic time staying at the cottage. It was very well equipped, in a great location, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We really enjoyed our time there definitely 5 stars from us! Would highly recommend and well certainly be booking again.

A beautiful well maintained property, with top class furnishings. Mostly positive but a couple of small negatives. Could do with one more comfy seat in the lounge, and one bedroom has no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes. A very enjoyable country break and I can only imagine how good a summer break there would be. Thank you

The property was lovely and decor was of a high standard. Unfortunately whilst we were there the heating wasnt working properly so it was very cold down but boiling hot upstairs! The owners did send someone to help with this and provided heaters which helped but it did take the edge of it. Unfortunately though, we were too cold to go in the hot tub the first night which was a shame. It would have been nice to see the additional little touches such as salt and pepper in the kitchen or maybe just stuff previous guests had used. Overall we had a lovely stay and we would recommend this property.

The farmhouse was amazing beautifully decorated fantastic facilities for everyone and luxurious finishes the bedding was amazing so much so I checked where it was from to buy some ! Plenty of everything and lovely welcome gifts and note plus a very handy book full of detailed instructions and tips Position was perfect too Family of six adults plenty of room for us all If I had 1 improvement to suggest it would be for more outdoor lighting for the hot tub area as it was a winter break we really struggled to see the decking steps which were wet and slippy other than that perfect! Would book again and would highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning property. Perfect for our recent stay to celebrate our friends 60th birthday. Top quality everything.crockery, cutlery, bed linen towels etc. An outside light by the hot tub would be really useful this time of year as we were in the hot tub in the evening. Other than that it was perfect and we will definitely be back and recommend to others. Thank you

The Farmhouse was beautiful, as was the surrounding area. It is sat within a gated area, so we felt very safe and secure. The house itself was great and had everything we needed. The decor is pure luxury! We spent our days out and about exploring and our evenings back at the Farmhouse chilling out in the hot tub or watching TV in the cosy sitting room. We all felt so relaxed and honestly didn't want to leave. The little treats left by the hosts was also a lovely touch and just made it extra special. Lauren was fab and responded to a couple of queries I had really quickly. Also, a shout out to Jimmy and Maggie who we met as we were packing up the car to leave, such beautiful, loving cats! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great property. We have already said well be back again soon. Everything is done to the highest speck. Luxury carpets, curtains, a high end kitchen and appliances. Beautifully decorated. Excellent correspondence when we had a few questions. Not criticisms just a few things that would make it even better. There are no shaver points anywhere cant charge electric toothbrushes or shavers. Also, a wooden spoon for cooking in the kitchen would be useful as theres nothing to cook with only large serving spoons. Some storage in the bathrooms would also be great as the only place to put things was on the window ledge in the ensuite and on the sink ledge in the main bathroom. A chest of drawers in the main bedroom would also be useful as there were only two drawers one either side in the bedside cabinets.

The Farmhouse. ...what can I say. The cottage was bigger than we expected. The cleanliness was outstanding, the housekeeping girls were lovely. Had the pleasure of meeting Lauren & the 2 cats, what a lovely lady. The quality of the soft furnishings is second to none, bed were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you possibly need apart from cheese grater lol. The hot tub was just what very relaxing could just do with a mat inside so you down dip on the floor, when coming in.

The Farmhouse by far has to be one of the best places that we have stayed at. There is everything that you could possibly need for your stay,the whole place was immaculate,spacious and the hot tub is always an added bonus after a busy day sightseeing. Also thank you so much for the extra treat of biscuits,fizz,milk and roses. We would definitely recommend anybody to stay here as it is a fantastic place.

Four of us septuagenarians had a lovely week at the Farmhouse, using it as a base to walk most of the coastal path. Our initial problem finding the house was due to the blue house in the directions having recently been repainted!! The house was stylish and spotless, with a nice relaxing living area and a well equipped kitchen area. We just wished the fridge was a bit bigger for bc a self catering group. The beds were very comfortable and Lauren was quick to respond when we asked for one of the rooms to be made up into a twin room although the resulting single beds were rather narrow. After our days walking, we really appreciated the 3 spacious shower rooms, the bath and the hot tub. It was nice to meet Lauren just before we left and we were able to tell her how much we had enjoyed our stay.

The house was fantastic, you could tell from the second you walk in the quality to which it was decorated finished. There were so many nice touches such as a welcome bottle of Prosecco and a lovely hand written card. The hot tub was well maintained as was the area within the compound. We loved it. The only downside, for us, was the number of steps in the garden, we knew there were some steps, as advised on the website, however the photos did not quite show all of them. One of our party was not great on their feet and did find it slightly difficult to navigate them but, this did not take away from the rest of the house and how much we enjoyed our time.

We had a perfect stay at the house, its even more beautiful than the pictures! We were a party of 6 friends staying at the farmhouse. Its surrounded by beautiful countryside and 2 of the bedrooms looked out onto a field of cows and sheep the lambs were adorable and we loved watching the farmer feed them each morning. The house is done to a high standard, every detail has been thought about from each of us having our own dressing gowns to providing Nespresso coffee capsules for the coffee machine. The hot tub was great and we loved eating outside on the decking for our breakfast and evening meals theres outdoor seating and a table which isnt in the pictures a BBQ. Just a small thing outdoor cushions for the seats would be nice. Lauren responded to any questions very promptly and was welcoming, nothing was too much hassle. Cannot recommend it enough for a relaxing getaway. Its the first time weve visited Anglesey and we have fallen in love, what a beautiful part of Wales.

What an absolutely stunning property. Fabulously decorated to a very high and very tasteful standard. Complete with all the necessary mod cons, and those are also of an excellent high quality. Not only a Nespresso machine but a milk frother too, like home from home for me. We wanted for nothing! The beds were amazing. The bedrooms so light and airy. Showers in all the bathrooms were just fantastic. Dressing gowns included for us all, and a fresh pile of towels for each of us. Great parking areas. Lovely hot tub and a perfect little gym if you need to work off any excesses.

Hot tub chemicals topped up regularly, only criticism would be that we could have done with one or two more dishwasher tablets and Beds were slightly firm for my liking, but other than that, 1010 experience and would definitely stay again!
