Willow Barns Reviews

Kirsty
Had an amazing weekend staying in the barn. It is so much more spacious than it looks in pictures. It has everything you need and the location is so peaceful. Hot tub was perfect even in November. Highly recommend
Suzanne
We had a lovely week in this cosy, relaxing, quiet location in beautifully furnished and clean, spacious accommodation with largest smart TV we have ever used. It is a shame that there is no path into the local fields from the property; that the roads are far from safe to walk on; and a local farmer ploughs right to the very edge regardless of the Read moreNorth Bedfordshire Heritage Trail round his field but the little country park a mile away in Colmworth is great for dogs. Gemma
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is a very quiet location, well placed for the golf course which provide lovely food and reasonably priced. The only downside was that the field was not secure so we were unable to let our dog off the lead. The barn was well equipped, really appreciated dishwasher tablets being provided, as well as hot tub towRead moreels and outdoor furniture cushions. As previously mentioned by another holiday maker, one set of jets and lights in the hot tub are not working. Hide

A good size property, nicely done and finished. Certainly will use again.
Paul
A roomy cottage in a pleasant location. Dark interior and poor lighting made it feel very dim. Generally in need of a refresh and make over. It could be so much nicer.
Steven
Very quiet location just what we wanted very nice atmosphere
Mary
This cottage is very comfortable clean and has everything that you need if you want to cook a meal it's like a home from home the garden has beautiful views and was really good for our dog would definitely recommend this cottage
Deborah
We stayed here in May half term and it was perfect for our two young's boys and dog. They loved having the space of the grass outside the house, and the garden area with hot tub. Two annoyances for us was that the double glazing on the french doors was broken so all misted inside. It meant that you couldn't see outside to the lovely view. Other annRead moreoyance was that the jets didn't work on one side of the hot tub, although it didn't stop us using and enjoying it everyday. Hide

Keith
What a lovely hidden gem of a converted barn. Spacious and quirky in a great way. We shall be returning there for future breaks. Owners were really lovely and accommodating too.
David
Comfortable accommodation with good facilities and larger than normal bedrooms. Excellent high quality bedding. Shower mixer tap a mystery! TV and Internet coped with four users. Kitchen well equipped. Well located.
Mike
Great property. Ideal for exploring the local area. Some great local pubs a short drive away. Cambridge is lovely, but check your bank balance before you pay for parking!
Debbie
Excellent cottage great location with lots of facilities.
Sarah
Sadly, for the money charged, this falls far short. It is spacious and in a lovely location with easy access to many places. However; the Wi-Fi is patchy and unreliable, the promised TV streaming services do not work, despite numerous lights and lamps the rooms are still dark and the whole place is tired and needs a thorough deep clean to remove co bwebs and the like. If the accommodation was half or three-quarters of the price then we wouldnt be complaining but as it is it is over-priced.
ann
Lovely cottage with great amenities would definitely stay again. Distance to shops and restaurants, pubs not within walking distance. The dog loved the paddock at the back and the shade to the front. Great to watch the wildlife.
Mike
The cottage was spotlessly clean, the whole house is bright and airy, the cottage is very well equipped with great WiFi, free view, Netflix Amazon prime etc. The hot tub was awesome and garden front and back are beautiful. It is so peaceful and quite and only a stones throw from St Neots which has great train links into London.
Karen
Would stay here again
H
Poor lighting throughout, Sofa uncomfortable and grubby, no washing machine, No information on local area and no emergency telephone numbers, No welcome pack. Car parking information misleading on website and very poor. Overall appearance of cottage very dark and overgrown.
Sarah
We had the best time! Such a fab cottage - great hot tub, and super location. Cottage was so comfy and cosy! Thank you
Frank
We enjoyed our stay but found the cottage very dark.
Shirley
The barn needs a thorough deep clean, old cobwebs everywhere and needs updating . The garden was overgrown and dark so needs the trees cutting right back to let the light in. Very dissapointed in the hot tub as we couldn't use it on two occasions, the chemicals were burning our eyes. The internet was very slow, also the TV in the bedroom had a poor signal. There was no welcome pack on arrival, which was dissapointing. Was not worth the money we paid.
