2 The Green is a single-storey, detached lodge nestled on the idyllic Tattershall Lakes Country Park, Lincolnshire. Enjoying an enclosed decking with furniture and a sunken hot tub, along with easy access to the surrounding woods and vast lakes, the Lodge invites families for a relaxing escape to this part of Lincolnshire.
After parking up, head up the veranda and make your way inside, discovering the open-plan living space, ready to make yourself feel at home. The well-equipped kitchen encourages home-cooking, complete with a range of facilities, whilst the dining table is perfect for enjoying the fruits of your labour.
Afterwards, curl up in front of the electric fire and browse the Smart TV for entertainment. Those balmy evenings can be spent on the decking, relaxing on the furniture with a favourite tipple in hand, or taking advantage of the sunken hot tub and gazing at the stars above.
As the day comes to an end, retire to either of the three well-presented bedrooms, with the master hosting a king-size and en-suite shower, whilst there are also two twin rooms with fitted storage; each of the bedrooms come with wall-mounted Smart TVs so you can enjoy your favourite series in bed. Tattershall Lakes guest passes need to be purchased to gain entry to all facilities including pools, arcade, restaurants and bars.
These can only be booked through the owners account. Escape the serenity of the park and visit the National Trust’s Tatershall Castle, a magnificent, medieval fortress where you can explore the castle's impressive architecture, climb its towering battlements, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
For those seeking a more family-friendly experience, Tattershall Farm Park is a must-visit; this delightful farm park offers a range of activities for children, including animal encounters, tractor rides, and indoor play areas. Aviation enthusiasts will be thrilled by the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight Visitors Centre, where they can witness the iconic aircraft used during World War II up close.
