The location of the house is perfect to travel round to local places for the kids with the most we drove being 45 mins and the least 10 mins. We had an absolutely brilliant weekend at Braco Farm. The house was beautiful, every room spotless and immaculately decorated. And lots of storage. We received a lovely welcome basket and the kitchen had every gadget you could ask for. The toaster could even fit whole slices of bread, none of the having to turn it halfway through! The highlight was that every single window gave picture perfect views. The rural location meant no light pollution so star gazing from the hot tub was bliss.

This is a beautifully furnished and decorated property. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked with appliances and kitchen equipment. The surrounding countryside is beautiful but quite remote, the nearest shop and pub being a 15 minute drive away. It's therefore very quiet and peaceful. We were welcomed with a small hamper of goodies so were able to have a cuppa as soon as we arrived.

What a fantastic place to stay. We are a family of 7 adults and a 9 month old baby. We love to get together for family meals and a good laugh. Braco Cottage was a great place to do this. Mabie Farm Park is a firm favourite. Ideal for families with younger children ,this family oriented farm park has lots of animals to meet and also offers Donkey Rides, Paddle Boats and Slides as well as Trampolines and Bouncy Castles. Kids can run around on the Soft Play Area while mum and dad relax in the Tea Room. There is also a Farm Shop onsite selling toys, gifts and fresh local produce including cakes and jams. Seasonal activities can also be enjoyed including a spookly tea and walk on Haloween. The Farm closes for the winter on October 31st.
